THE VERDICT

Darkness's

Screams were heard from the neighbouring house. In the middle of the night,with darkness covering the whole sky,it was clear to hear and follow the direction of the scream.
  Villagers started leaving their houses and going to the direction of the scream. Armed with a machetes,jembes, knives,clubs and even rolling pins,the men and women walked steadily in the cold night. Some were falling from the impact of the mud caused by the rainfall.
   Another sharp scream was heard making everyone run to protect their dear lives.
  "Whatever is happening must be serious" said Francis,the village elder.
  They all rushed to Mr. Anderson's house since the scream was coming from the house.
Mr. And Mrs. Anderson aren't new to their neighbours. The night fights and quarrels were normal and usual in that house. But this day,it was different it spoke of danger. Something serious had happened.
  
On getting to the house,the villagers were shocked from what laid before them.

Anderson was on the ground bleeding profusely,his wife Josie was beside him holding a slasher,his daughter Eva was busy on her phone calling an ambulance. Their househelp Jemima was crouching beside Anderson trying to give first aid. She was pressing the wound with a cloth trying to stop the bleeding.
  Everyone was shocked and clueless about what was going on. Tge confusion around the house was caused by a rush of adrenaline after seeing too much blood.
  It is the siren of the ambulance and police car that brought people from the confusion. Mr. Anderson was placed in the ambulance and the police started asking questions .

After a few minutes,Josie was handcuffed and taken into the police car. She was driven away and it was concluded that she assaulted her husband,that is according to Jemima.
The usual quarrels had let into a fight and Josie took a slasher and hit her husband with it on the neck. She insisted that it was Josie who slashed her husband's neck.

Eva tried to give her version of the story but Jemima shut her up and told the police that she wasn't around when it all happened.
  Everyone left the home confused,what has happened,who was telling the truth. Maybe Anderson would open his mouth and tell everyone the truth.

After two weeks,there were screams all over Anderson's home. What is it again?
