Armona oneshots (Under the Boardwalk)

One night, as Armen and Ramona were at the kingdom dance at the boardwalk, they went on a sailing trip. But before that, as Ramona noticed the first lantern, she said, "The Lanterns! Only on my Birthday! I'm the lost Princess! Aren't I?" Armen said, "Happy Birthday, Ramona."

As Shelly and Val walked to Armen and Ramona, Shelly wanted to launch the first lantern with them. And so they did. And Shelly and Val said goodbye as Armen and Ramona departed. 

And when they were far away on the ocean, Ramona said, "How about we sing a song?"

"Sure, Ramona." Armen said.

And I see the light starts playing. And Ramona sang:

All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been

Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's all so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you

And as Armen had two lanterns, Ramona forgot his crab satchel she gave to him.

"I have something for you too." She takes out the satchel. "I should have given it to you before, but the thing is, I was just scared. And the thing is, I'm not scared anymore. You know what I mean?" 

Armen said, "I'm starting to."

And Armen and Ramona lift their lanterns up as Armen sang:

 All those days, chasing down a daydream
All those years, living in a blur
All that time, never truly seeing
Things the way they were
Now she's here, shining in the starlight
Now she's here, suddenly I know
If she's here, it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to go

And they both sang: 

And at last I see the light

Armen sang:

And it's like the fog has lifted

And they both sang:

And at last I see the light

Ramona sang:

And it's like the sky is new

They both sang:

And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted

All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you
Now that I see you

And then they both kiss.
