*they exchange smiles and grab their stuff, Tim follows Lucy back to the apartment*
T- you change it up a bit, it's nice
*all the furniture has been moved around and wall art changed, as well as some things in the kitchen*
L- huh... I haven't.... Oh for gods sake.
T- everything ok?
L- my mother
T- oh, I can go if you need
L- no please stay
T- yeah course
*Lucys mum appears from her room*
LM- hi Lucy, didn't know you were bringing company
L- didn't realise u still hasn't left
LM- Lucy come on don't speak to me like that. We just need to talk
L- about what mum, because as I remember last night I said I was done talking
LM- yes but we need to talk about getting you a real job
*Tim is standing kind of arkwardly in between the two*
L- no mum I love my job, and I'm not changing it now so please leave
LM- but Lucy
T- she asked you to leave... please
*all three of them are shocked that Tim spoke up for Lucy*
LM- fine fine I'm going, but I'll be back tomorrow
T- don't bother I'll be here again, and when I'm here you're not
LM- fine whatever, Lucy I'm going home. I expect a call from you soon
L- well keep hoping mother
*she leaves and it's just Lucy and Tim in the apartment, Lucy starts to cry again, and remembers the pain from the knife she dropped yesterday and how it made her feel numb instead.*
