Chapter 25: Saitama meets the 2 Pillars

[Loud chatter in the distance]

Saitama can hear some of the rescuers that are retrieving hanging people at the threads.

Those people are called Kakushi, mainly an assistance to the demon slayer corps.

The Kakushis rescued the unconscious Zenitsu and was sent back to Ubuyashiki Estate, a safe place where Zenitsu will be treated with medical attention.

Saitama was just sitting at the top of the wooden hut, staring at the rescuers doing their jobs.

Meanwhile, Shinobu sits beside Saitama, the pillar has a look of curiosity but is also wary of Saitama's origin.

Shinobu stares at the sitting Saitama as she asked him in curious tone "so about my question about you....are you a demon slayer?" her tone is friendly and soothing, as if she is just acting.

Saitama gazes at her with a look of hesitation when the hero doesn't know what's the right answer, the hero answers her in honest tone "well, I guess you can say so, but I am just accompanying Zenitsu and my squad, in other words.. I am their guardian, and also slay demons too"

Shinobu's eyebrow raises in suspicious look, she can't believe how Saitama went unscathed but only dirtied with dust. From her perspective, she views the hero as something normal and thought he was a villager, but the fact that the hero committed that he also slays demon is a surprise for her.

"I see...why didn't you join with the demon slayer corps at your young age if you are a strong swordsman?" Asked the smiling Shinobu as her voice changes slightly yet it is still soothing to Saitama's ear.

Saitama in his mind while looking at her with poker face: "why is she asking my identity? Is she a police woman with a sword? No, maybe just an investigator but also a medic girl?" while looking up in the skies thinking of her question.
