Rengoku dashes inside the room 3 to check the situation and saw the demon was holding a hostage in its hands.

The terrified hostage was frozen in fear and is helpless, as he keep shouting "help me! Somebody!!"
The demon looks back at the demon slayers while growling in anger, the demon looks back at the terrified hostage and was about to be eaten.
But...
The flame pillar moves so fast he snatches the hostages back from the demon before the demon can attack.

Rengoku went back to his squad while still smiling and being lively.
Rengoku looks at the hostage he carried while still smiling brightly and says "are you okay mister? It's alright now.." he then puts down the hostage and start unsheathing his sword while saying back "now go back to room 2, I'll deal with this demon.."
"T-thank you...!" The hostage then ran back to the room 2.
Saitama and his squad had just enter the room and saw the flame pillar confronting the snarling demon.
"Woah! He manage to save the hostage!" Says the impressed Inosuke.
"Mister Rengoku! Let me help you!" Says Tanjiro while at his back.
"..." Saitama was just watching in his nonchalant behavior, observing the flame pillar's swordsmanship.
