"Back 2 the Basics"
I just brought my dad home from the hospital and I'm helping him get comfortable in his room.
"You gonna be good right?" I asked my dad
"Yes Kiaan. Thank you son, now go home and get some rest boy" he said patting my shoulder
"Okay dad. I love you..." I said
"I love you too son... and go check on Athena. She told me about her brother" he said
"I know. I'm about to go see her now"
"Good" he said as he directed his attention back to the tv
I walked out of his room and down the hall and down the stairs. I walked in the kitchen where my sisters Malaysia and Kiya were.
They stopped talking once I walked in and began laughing. I ignored them childish bitches and walked outside to my car.
I drove about 20 minutes to Athena mom house and once I got there I knocked on the door.
"Oh hi Kiaan! How've you been?" Ms. India said pulling me into a hug and making way for me to walk through the door
"Hey Ms. India. I been 'ight . How you been?" I asked
"I'm hanging in there. Between my son and them daughters of mine. I might just lose my mind" she said making me laugh a little
"Krew!" I heard her little sister say
"Wassup MeiMei" I said giving her a hug
"Juju upstairs but she in a mad mood because she mad at the world" she said rolling her eyes
"Ameia, shut your mouth little girl" Ms. India said sternly
I made my way upstairs and knocked on Athena's door. I told her it was me and she said come in.
"What you Want?" She asked as she continued to roll up and not look at me
"Damn... I just came to see you shorty"
"You seen me" she said looking up at me
"The fuck ya problem is?" I asked scrunching my face up at her
