Ehh..Love

Ch. 9

I didn't go to school for the first three days of the week. I was so depressed that I just couldn't get out of bed and my dad didn't force me to.

I decided to go back today. I can't sulk forever. I just plan on being alone and not talking to anyone.

"Aiyla!!" Destiny says and rushes up to me when she sees me sitting in the classroom.

"Hey." I say plainly

"Girl you ok? You been MIA." She asks me with a smile on her face.

"Home." Is all I say

"Oh okay. You gone sit with us at lunch today?" She says me.

"Probably not." I say

"Uh huh. Well I'll talk to you later." She says with a frown on her face. I give her a weak smile and she walks away.

During class several people try to talk to me but I simply ignore them all. During lunch time I sat alone outside listening to music. In my other classes I was silent.

"Aye what's wrong wit you?" Jaden asks me while standing in front of my car at the end of the school day.

"Nothing." I say without any emotions.

"Where you been?" He asks me and I give him the same answer I gave Destiny.

"Home."

"Look if you don't wanna talk then say that shit. I was just seein' if you were good." He says with a shrug.

He looks a little mad.

Maybe I can tell him something. He has been extremely nice and helpful to me lately.

"How deep can I get?" I ask him.

"Ion care." He says.

"Wanna come to my house?" I ask him and he shrugs.

"Just follow me." I say and get in my car.

I need someone to talk to. My dad knows how I feel already and I can't say certain things to him because I don't want him upset or thinking that I didn't appreciate him. I definitely do but there are just things that I needed from a mother figure that I never got.

I drive home and Jaden is right behind me.

We get to my house and we both go in and sit on the couch.

"No snacks this time?" He asks me with a smirk.

"I'm sorry. Do you want chips or something?" I ask him

"Nah I was just playin, what's up?" He asks me

"It's gonna get deep." I say with a sigh and he nods his head.

"My mom came over here yesterday." I say and he looks confused.

"You don't live with your mom?" He asks me. I forgot that he didn't know. Well no one besides Jace and Z knows the actual story about my mom. Des knows a little but not much.

"My mom left soon after I was born. I've never lived with my mom." I say and he nods his head basically telling me to continue.

"She came over yesterday and was blaming my dad for me not wanting to be around her and talk to her. That's not true at all. Anyways they were arguing and she said that she never wanted me and she wanted to abort me but my dad and her parents wouldn't let her. Some words were said after that and then I basically was depressed and I couldn't get out of bed. I was so hurt by what she said." I say explaining to him why I missed school and why I was sad.

"That's fucked up." He says looking shocked.

"I know. It hurts because deep down I wanted to forgive her but now I can't because she said that stuff. I needed her growing up and she just left me. A girl with no mom is horrible. So many things I had to learn on my own. It just hurts me you know." I say while looking at him and he nods.
