Okay so it's Saturday at 4:40pm and I'm debating if I should text Edwardo.
I've been bored all day because my dad has been working and I really don't have anyone to talk to.
Okay I'm just gonna text him.
Me- you still wanna hang out?
Okay simple enough. He's either gonna say yes or no.
A couple minutes later he texts me back.
Edwardo🙃- si mami. u wanna go to a party with me later?
A party?
Me- uh I don't know.
I text back. I really don't want to party and I don't know his friends like that.
Almost instantly he texts back.
Edwardo🙃- oh come onnn. it's just a party. we'll have fun together😉
Me- what time is the party?
Edwardo🙃- 10. u want me to pick you up?
If I learned one thing from my dad it's that you NEVER ride with someone else to a party. Drive your own vehicle so you have nothing stopping you from leaving if you want to go.
Me- no, I'll drive myself. I can meet you there. What's the address?"
He eventually sends me the address and tells me that we're gonna have a lot of fun tonight.
I decided to relax until about 9. Then I get up, shower and stuff. And attempt to pick out a cute outfit.
I decided to do a little light make up and some lashes.
It's sad but I've only been to one high school party before.
It didn't end well.
At 10:30 I decide to go ahead and drive to the party.
I look very pretty.

It's honestly not that cold so I don't need a jacket. I quickly spray on some perfume and walk downstairs.
"And where are you going?" My dad asks me looking at me from the couch.
"A party with a friend." I say
"What time are you coming back?" He asks me.
"Whenever I get ready. I'm driving so I probably won't stay too long." I say with a smile.
"Smart girl." He says with a smile and nods his head.
"I'll text you when I get there and when I'm leaving." I say to him and grab my keys.
"Be safe, love you." He says and then looks back at the tv.
"Love you too." I say with a smile and then walk out the door.
