"Are you sure, babe?You might get bored in the hospital"sambit ko

"It's fine, babe! I just wanna see how you work in that hospital"she replied

Nag kibit balikat nalang ako

"Okay, tara na babe late na ako eh hehe" sambit ko

Inirapan niya lang ako and she holds my hands

Hawak kamay kaming naglakad pa pasok ng opisina ko

"Excuse me, doc DJ. May patients po kayo"My assistant nurse said

Tumango naman ako at ni ngitian siya

Ngumiti muna siya bago lumabas

"Babe, I should go to my clinic muna. Come with me babe" I said

"Tara! I want to meet your patients din" she smiled

I smiled and intertwined our hands

"M-mommy" Jordan's crying

Lumapit ako sakanya at niyakap siya habang naka higa kami

"It's okay, baby... Mommy's here" Pag aalo ko sakanya

"I-is d-doctow d-dada h-hewe?m-mommy" He softly said

I fixed her hair and kisses her forehead lightly

"Anak, you should take a rest... You still have a high fever oh"sabi ko sakanya

"B-but m-mommy..." sambit niya

"Jordan Matthew... Diba sabi ko wag hard headed kay mommy?" Pag banta ko

Tumango naman siya at isiniksik ang sarili niya sakin

I sang a song until he fell a sleep

I smiled and kissed his forehead

"Sleep well, My love" i said softly

Bigla namang pumasok si Mafe

" Bantayan mo ng mabuti ha? nasa nurse station lang ako sa labas" pa alala ko sakanya

"Oo po, mahal na reyna. Pumunta ka na dun sa station niyo baka mapagalitan ka pa ng supervisor niyo" Sambit niya

Ngumiti ako sakanya at lumabas na ng kwarto

"uhm ma'am, si Nurse Galanza  na po ang bahala po sa anak niyo po. Punta lang po kayo sa Nurse station" My assistant nurse said

Bigla namang sumakit ang ulo ko

Nilapitan naman ako ni Mae

"b-babe?are you okay?" She's worried

Bigla naman akong nahilo

"b-babe!"

I woke up...at a room?

"Babe! Finally! Wait don't move yet, are you okay? can you sit down? Are you hungry?" She was hella worried!

"B-babe, calm down. I'm fine, my head hurts a little bit and I'm hungry" I chuckled

"Okay, I'll order some food muna babe via grab. Just, stay still okay?" she said and quickly dialed her phone

Napatawa naman ako sakanya and Waited for her na matapos sa pag order

"Babe, about my...patients" sambit ko

"Oh, pinapa resched na ng assistant nurse mo yung appointment nila. Don't worry babe, I took care of it. For now, let's wait muna sa order ha?" She said

Napa ngiti naman ako at tsaka tumango

What I like about her is that she cares

Kahit konting kirot lang, mag mamaktol na sakin na magpahinga

Napa ngiti naman ako when I remembered those times nung nasa Vancouver pa lang kami

But somehow

It feels like

I'm already locked in with someone

Someone, I used to love

who became my everything

I remembered, I made a promise on that someone

That persone must be that special

For me

"Babe! heres the food!" Biglang sigaw ni Mae

Nagulat naman ako sa sigaw niya

"Oh, hehe sorry babe" She kissed my cheeks before she placed our food in the table

Lumabas muna ako para mag aliw aliw

Pina tanggal ko na yung dextrose, hindi naman na sumasakit ang ulo ko eh

"Dada!" I felt a small hug on my legs

I saw a kid with a dextrose

It feels like I've seen it, before

"Doc dada!doc dada!Tita mafe, look!" the kid was happy

Tinignan ko yung babaeng tinatawagan niya

Napa sapo naman ulit ako sa ulo ko

My head...It hurts!
