I have a scheduled operation today, and malapit na matapos yung shift ni Jema

Andito kami ngayon ni Jema sa labas ng operating room, I just saw how she panicked kanina

"Hey, I'll just...do this. Can you wait?"I asked

Tumango naman siya

"I'm sorry, If matagal yung operation. I'll make it-"She held my hand and smiled

"It's okay, Wag ka lang mag madali okay doc? I'll... I'll stay here outside"she reassured

Napatingin naman ako sakanya

"Ehem! Doc Dj let's start the operation napo .Later na po yung bebe time"It was MG!

Napa sapo naman ako sa ulo ko habang si Jema naman ay napa yuko nalang

"I'll go now,I'll be back okay?" sambit ko

I went inside and scrubbed in

Andito lang ako sa labas ng operating room, waiting for her to finish operating

Pwede naman sigurong mag bihis nalang ako para di rin siya makapag antay

Pumunta muna ako sa locker room ko, at nag bihis

Pag labas ko, nadatnan ko si Kyla

"Oh, nag overtime ka?" tanong ni kyla sakin

umiling naman ako

"M-may hinihintay lang ako."sagot ko

"sino?si ate jia?"tanong niya ulit

Nako naman, dami mong tanong kyla!Wala akong baon today

"A-alam mo k-kyla, a-alis na a-ako."sambit ko at umalis na

sorry ky, ayoko munang sabihin. Baka soon na

Nasa tapat na ako kaagad ng operating room, Hindi pa ata sila tapos

Alas otso na, I have to go home. Si mama kasi

I closed my eyes, antok na din ako eh. Idlip muna ako saglit

I heard the door opened kaya mabilis akong dumilat
It was ella and kaka scrub out niya lang
"Hey, Jema" Bungad niya
Sinalubong ko naman siya ng yakap
"I'm sorry pinag antay kita, it wasn't easy pero nai tawid na namin. The patient's stable, Let's get you home Jema. I uuwi na kita" Sambit niya napa ngiti naman ako at tumango

"We're here" sambit niya
We stopped at a mansion, it was nice and big
I opened the door for her, she smiled and stepped out of the car
"Thank you, Ella. Sige na, Umuwi ka na. Anong oras na oh, I know you're tired. Good night"Sambit niya
I smiled and nodded
"I'll wait for you to get it inside, Good night Jema"Sambit ko
We bid our good byes hanggang sa pumasok na siya sa Gate nila

I went home nang madatnan ko si ate sa sala, watching tv
"It's late, bat andito ka pa?" I asked
"Oh, I'm watching friends kasi. Ikaw, late na ah, overtime?" she asked
I nodded
"Tulog ka na, ate. Masama yan sayo na mag puyat" sambit ko
I turned off the tv when I saw her pout
"Laki laki mo na ganyan ka pa din" I said
Napa tawa naman ako kaagad when i saw her frown
"Walang hiya ka! Oh sige na, Punta ka na sa kwarto mo bago pa kita tuluyang ma bigwasan dyan" she said and rolled her eyes
I chuckled and went upstairs
I went straight to the bed and quickly went to the message to give her a call

Napa ngiti naman ako when she answered it

"Hey"
[H-hello]
"oh, did i disturb your sleep?"
[Hindi naman. Inaantok pa lang ako. Why did you call by the way?]
"Wala, just wanna tell you na naka uwi na ako. And I got home safe"
[That's good to know. I was watching friends series kasi, pampa antok lang]
"Really? Yan din pinapa nood ng ate ko ngayon, Well, I turned it off kasi it's already late night. You should sleep na rin"
[Yeah, *yawns* medyo inaantok na rin ako eh]
Napa tawa naman ako, Hindi lang medyo, Jema
"Sure ka ba sa medyo?"
[Oo na, inaantok na talaga ako. So...]
"Wait"
[Oh, bakit?]
"pwedeng...wag patayin yung call?"
[Hmm?bakit naman?]
"I just... I just want to. Please?"
[Hmm, okay... I'll sleep na ha. Baka dika pa makatulog sa mga hilik ko]
"It's fine, We'll just snore together then"
We we're both laughing when I heard her yawn again
"let's sleep but don't end the call"
[Okay, good night ulit]
