Opening Scene: Masaru sleeps on his bed. We sort of orbit him as he sleeps. And then his dresser shakes.
It shakes again and he slams his fist through it the dresser, he continues to sleep. But then the communicator beeps louder.
He groans and grabs it, his eyes widen as he immediately sits up.
Masaru: No...No...No!!!
We cut to battle, Masaru is frozen as they face off against Dr. Light.
Robin: Mas Frontal Assault!
Masaru stands still, Robin lunges ahead and swings his legs at Light. Light counters each of his attacks, he then blasts him back.
Robin: (holding his stomach) What're you doing mas!
Masaru: (snapping out of his trance) Huh. What?
Robin: (standing up) Dude focus!!
Masaru: Sorry!
He runs ahead and goes to attack but then he's put back in his trance as a blast of light sends him flying through the air.
Masaru not even affected by the attack lays against the ground still pondering.
Robin: MASARU!
The titans engage with light, and the resulting battle ends with them on top. They slowly walk over to where Masaru was but he's gone.
Beastboy (smoke sizzling on top of him) What's up with him?
Raven (smoke sizzling on top of her): I don't know, I'm gonna find out though.
We Cut Back To Titans Tower, Masaru finishes packing. He turns and yelps at everyone in his room.
Robin: Start talking.
Masaru: Dude what're you talking about?
Cyborg: Bro, you totally bomb the fight against Doctor light. And then you stand here and ask us what we mean?
Beastboy: Yeah it's like you were mind controlled or something dude.
Masaru: I'm sorry I was just...thinking...look I have to go.
He tightens duffel bag strap.
Beastboy: Dude. Your leaving?
Masaru: Just for a few days.
Robin: For what?
Masaru: It's Personal!
Starfire: Perhaps we could come.
Masaru: (practically shouting) NO! (everyone is taken aback.) I mean no...it's something I have to do on my own. You guys can handle things without me for a few days.
He leaves and everyone sighs before accepting it, except for one pale girl with a blue hoodie.
Cut to Masaru in flight looking determined, he then abruptly stops. He looks around a little annoyed as it seems.
Masaru drops his head before speaking out:
Masaru: Raven...I know your there I feel your energy.
Raven outcomes from a cloud.
Masaru: (ticked) What the hell are you doing here?
Raven: I wanted to come with you.
Masaru: What part of it's personal did you not get?
Raven: It's too late for me to turn back now so you have to accept it.
Masaru: You don't understand Raven it's danger-
