"for once gyuvin shows up on time! thank the heavens for you, ricky." matthew exclaims as the two boys walk towards the group.

"anyways," taerae drawled, cutting off gyuvin's protests. "i'm so hyped. i read so many good reviews about the rides."

"do you guys want to like, split up? like me and hanbin, jiwoong matthew and taerae, yujin can go with gunwook, and ricky with gyuvin. how does that sound?"

"ew, i don't want to be with mattwoong, what the fuck."

"you homophobic bra-"

"OKAY! taerae you can go with the kids then. they need someone to supervise them anyways."

"i'm fine with that. but please don't run off, you two."

everyone split up to their desired ride, not before buying silly theme park headbands for each other. matthew and jiwoong immediately wanted to go play at the game booths (well, mostly matthew. jiwoong was dragged along), and matthew's constant shouts of "jiwoon hyung! you're the best!" probably shows that they won a lot of prizes. yujin, gunwook and taerae went and played on every single 360 roller coaster there was. at the end, taerae was practically tripping over his own feet, with the other two still bursting with excitement. hanbin and hao had gone off somewhere to make out.

meanwhile, ricky and gyuvin played on multiple rides, including a horror ride where they had to sit in a car thing and face various jumpscares. gyuvin clung onto ricky the whole time while ricky didn't even flinch at the artificial skeletons and zombies, but he didn't mind that at all.

finally tired out from all the walking, they stood together holding colored drinks, one pink, one yellow. gyuvin sighed contentedly. he could get used to this. he was snapped out of his daze when ricky leaned over and pecked him on the lips.

"what was that for?" gyuvin asked, smiling.

"your lips are chapped." ricky looked away, blushing furiously.

they both knew it was an excuse. a minute later, gyuvin was peppering ricky's face with kisses. "aww ricky, you're so cute what am i going to do with you?" gyuvin grinned as he squished ricky's cheeks aggressively, causing the blonde to swat the other's hands away like an annoyed cat, even though he secretly enjoyed it.

"ew, guys, no pda." taerae's voice interrupted their couple goals moment.

"even though you guys look kind of cute right now, it's time to go. we were looking for you." matthew said, jiwoong trailing behind him, his hands full to the brim with stuffed toys. 

"oh hey guys." hao and hanbin said, randomly emerging from somewhere. hao was holding a red drink and hanbin was holding a blue one. gyuvin decided not to point out the fact that both their tongues were purple.

chattering loudly, the nine boys walked home, all agreeing on hanging out at ben dover land more.

ricky sat in his seat, waiting for class to start with an empty feeling inside. he sighed. the post hangout feeling is in fact, real. especially since gyuvin wasn't here today due to another basketball game - uninjured, this time, so he's actually on the court - which made ricky feel even more lonelier than usual.

a few minutes later, the professor made his way into the room. as he started droning on and on, ricky realized he had left his pencil case at home, again. oh gosh. is he having amnesia or something? he lifted his hand to tap the person in front's shoulder but stopped midway.

oh! it's the girlfriend. he thought.

eh, who cares. ricky was not going to fail his classes because of some random overprotective couple, so he tapped her on the shoulder anyway. annoyed, the girl turned around.

"you, again? i thought i told you, i have a boyfriend." she hissed.

ricky quirked an eyebrow at her. "and so do i, so can i have a pencil?"

the girl rolled her eyes at his response and pushed a pencil towards him. "whatever, keep it."

ricky stared at the strawberry patterned pencil in his hand and smiled to himself.

maybe the faded footprint on his passport was worth it after all.
