yujin sat in his usual table in the cafeteria, bouncing his leg anxiously as he waited for ollie. his eyes lit up when a familiar mop of black hair made its way through the swarm of students. he could recognize that hair anywhere.

"ollie, hi!" he waved enthusiastically at the other boy, who waved back with a wide smile.

"can i tell you something? in private." yujin said, as ollie sat down next to him.

he looked confused, but nodded. "sure."

as they walked towards their secret area which they found as elementary kids - which was the tree behind the cafeteria, yujin couldn't help but feel really nervous. if this was a few years back, his hyungs would've been here to cheer him on, but now they were all in university. except, well, gunwook, but he had broadcasting club during lunch. he fiddled with his fingers, feeling the panic build up inside of him. what if he feels disgusted of me? yujin shut up, ollie would never be disgusted of you.

"so...?" ollie began, rocking back on forth on his feet. he looked expectant.

okay, here goes. don't mess up, han yujin. "i kind of have a really big crush on you. like, really really big." yujin spilled out, squeezing his eyes shut.

there was a moment of silence and yujin opened one eye to check for ollie's reaction. he didn't look disgusted at all. instead, he had a wide grin on his face as he pulled yujin into a hug.

"i've been waiting for you to say that," he said, pulling away. "i like you too, silly. i thought it was obvious."

"was it? i didn't notice..." yujin scratched his nape, his face flushing. they stared at each other for a few seconds before mutually bursting into laughter.

"so... are we like, boyfriends now?" yujin asked, as the laughter died away.

ollie nodded. "if you want to be."

"okay!" hand in hand, they skipped happily back into the cafeteria.
