It seemed to be a regular day at Camp Campbell, the sun was shining through the trees and the sounds of laughter echoing across the grounds. However, there was an underlying tension in the air as David was nervously glancing around, his mind preoccupied with thoughts of todays return of a very familiar face.

"Geez, David, you look like you've seen a ghost or something." Gwen remarked, eyeing him with a mixture of amusement and concern. David forced a smile, attempting to shrug off his worries. "Oh, you know me, just thinking about all the fun activities we have planned for today!" But Gwen couldn't be fooled that easily. She knew that Daniel's planned return had David on the edge, and she couldn't blame him. After all, Daniel's past actions had caused quite a lot of chaos in the camp, especially with his ill-fated attempt at rat poisoning...

As the campers went about their morning routines, David couldn't shake the feeling of unease about his choice of allowing Daniel back into the camp, but he believes that everyone deserves a second chance.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching. Turning around, David's heart sank as he saw Daniel swaggering towards him with a smirk on his face."Well, hello there, old friend," Daniel sneered, his tone dripping with sarcasm. David forced himself to remain calm, despite the knot of anxiety tightening in his stomach. "Daniel! it's great to see you back. I hope you're ready to turn over a new leaf and-"

Before David could finish his sentence, Daniel cut him off with a wicked laugh. "Turn over a new leaf? Oh, David, you really are pathetic, aren't you?"

The campers nearby began to take notice of the tense exchange, casting wary glances in their direction. Ignoring the curious stares, Daniel leaned in close to David, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You really thought you could just let me back into camp and act like nothing happened? Well.. you better think again." David's heart pounded in his chest as he realized the gravity of the situation. Daniel really wasn't here for redemption; he was here for revenge. Before David could react, Daniel lunged forward and grabbed him by the collar, pulling him close with a sinister grin. "You're going to regret ever crossing me, David. Mark my words."

Despite the fear coursing through his veins, David refused to back down. Steeling himself, he met Daniel's gaze with unwavering determination. "I won't let you hurt anyone else anymore, Daniel. Unlike you, I can lear from my mistakes" The standoff between the two men continued, tensions rising with each passing moment. But deep down, David knew that this was only the beginning of their battle. And as he braced himself for the challenges ahead, he vowed to protect his campers at any cost.
