This book initially started as my entry for the Open Novella Contest 2024, and I’m proud to say that I made it to the second round as a qualifier! However, I didn’t continue to the third round. Now, I’ve decided to turn this novella into a full-length novel, and I’m excited to share the expanded version of this story with you all.

For this novel, I’m still drawing inspiration from three prompts, which are:
Main Prompt:
53. The coworker who irritates you the most just asked you for a big favor. They’re not who or what they appear to be. And they know you’re not either.
Sub-Prompts:
12. A midnight stroll and a meeting with a frantic stranger.
13. As years pass, you realize you’ve remained the same while everyone else has aged normally. The question is... why?

This story is entirely a work of fiction, though some elements—like my characters' nationalities and language—are inspired by my own background. You’ll also come across references to fictional countries, lands, and languages, blending the real world with a touch of fantasy.
From time to time, my characters will speak in Bengali, but don’t worry! I’ve included explanations or translations, either in the text or as notes.
Lastly, all characters, organizations, and events are purely fictional. Any resemblance to real people, organizations, or events is purely coincidental.
