"Yes, a total mess. I won't be able to watch the film with you guys, I'm so sorry" He really was, but he already knew that he wouldn't be present that night, Valentino
would never let him go for such an insignificant thing.
"Me neither, I have an important thing to do"
"I should call Val" Angel got up and started digit the number.
"Hey angel"
"Yes?"
"Do you want to stay here? There isn't much I can do, but I can try to comfort you while you call"
Husk knew how much Angel was suffering, and it really made him furious, how could someone ever do such a thing to a person like Angel?
"Thank you Husk, I don't know what I would do without you" Angel sat down on the stool and tried not to cry. He was so glad to have Husk, where could he find again someone so caring?
The spider pressed the green button and started the call.
"Hello Angelcakes, why are you calling sweetheart?"
"Hey Val, I-"
"How did you call me?"
"Hey daddy"
Husk noticed that Angel was already shaking.
"I really can't be on the set tonight, I'm terrible sorry"
"How?"
Angel gave a confused look to Husk who was also doubtful.
"HOW DARE YOU?"
This time Angel gasped 'cause of the scream.
The furious cat decided to calm himself and grabbed Angel's hand.
The spider started to relax as his hand touched Husker's one.
"Val, please, it is really important, I will do two shift of sixteen hours!"
"You little shit, how dare you tell me what to do? If you really want to skip today work you will do three shifts of sixteen hours"
"Fine"
"Good boy, see you tomorrow~"
Husk looked at Angel.
"How are you feeling?"
"Terrible, but less terrible than the usual"
The spider then looked at their hand still united.
"Thank you for what you are doing Whiskers"
"Don't get used to it!" Said the demon cat removing his hand.
"We should tell the others that we can't be with them tonight"
"Yes right"
Angel never felt so protect in all his life, he really didn't know how to thank Husk.

Nifty was standing near the bar with a broom and she really didn't look peaceful.

At some point Nifty just started crying and Angel picked her up trying to make her laugh.
"Why don't we watch a film tomorrow instead of today?"
"Ehm Angel... you have a pretty busy day tomorrow"
He forgot again about his beautiful shift and is fucking boss.
"I will find someways to be present tomorrow"
Nifty stopped crying and fell asleep on Angel's arms.
"You don't need to kill yourself for others Angel..."
"I really care about all this, and I will do my best to be present at everything"
The spider looked at Husk with a determined expression.
