Since I was a little kid, I've always had a profound love for writing poetry.
When I was twelve years old, I started writing daily. It wasn't always the best, but over time, like most people, I improved my skill. By the time I hit high school, I had several notebooks full of poems, which I've sadly lost over the years. It was in high school that my talent was recognized by my theatre teacher, Molly Rice, who is also a poet at heart. She has multiple poetry books published in this big world we live in, and she was a huge inspiration in my life. Not only with my love for poetry, but also on a much more personal level when I was struggling with my emotions, my addictions. She cared about my well-being. Which at the time, was something I'd never had in my life.
This book is wholeheartedly dedicated to you, Mrs. Molly Rice. For I would not be here without you.
May we always cross paths until the end of our lives.
