The warning

A couple of days had passed since Charlie had spoken to her dad about her feelings. During these days Charlie had tried to figure out her next plan and how to move forward with it. Vaggie had also been avoiding the princess as much as possible. Which hurt Charlie, but she couldn't blame the girl for acting this way. So Charlie kept herself busy and working on the outside. While on the inside was planning every which direction to go. Her main part of all this was seeing if Alastor even felt the same way as her. The problem with that though, is she knew Alastor would probably keep her in the dark or turn the question around back to her. Causing her to not get a real and true answer from him.  She thought of possibly asking him out to lunch. Telling him it was so they could talk about work. Or maybe a walk around hell's less messed up and murderess places. She even thought about writing him a letter about her feelings and leaving it under his door in his room to find later. All these ideas yes could very well work in her favor, but every time her brain would come up with some horrible reasoning as to why it would fail in chaos.

Charlie had been stuck in her office for the last few hours. Try to concentrate on her work for the hotel, but was also having problems staying awake. She wasn't sleeping very well these last few nights. Probably only getting maybe three or four hours of sleep each night. Her exhaustion was finally catching up to her. "Just 10 minutes of shut-eye won't hurt? Then I'll get back to work." She thought to herself as she laid her head down on her desk. Falling asleep almost instantly and definitely for more than ten minutes.

Shortly after Charlie had passed out. There was a knock on the door, once the person on the other side didn't hear a response from the princess. They decided to slowly open the door letting themselves in. Alastor walked in closing the door behind him slowly as he saw the princess fast asleep. He grinned as he walked over to her sleeping form. "My darling Charlie, you should be taking better care of yourself," Alastor said out loud as he carefully moved her chair to face him. Being careful to not wake her up or make her fall. He then scooped her up in his arms. She looked so peaceful while she slept. Like she didn't have a care in the world. Alastor knew this to be a lie. He had taken notice of Charlie's actions and mannerisms, leading him to believe that other than the hotel. Something important was stuck in her mind, causing her to act out of sorts. He figured it probably had something to do with the fight she had with Vaggie. Though while it had been a bad fight for her. He also started to think that wasn't the only thing troubling her. Now yes she had been able to fool the others into thinking she was fine, but Alastor was able to read her. He wanted to ask her what her troubles could be but felt like she wouldn't give him an answer. So he decided to wait and let the princess go to him. If she so desired that is.

Alastor walked out of the office with Charlie in his arms. Getting the attention of the others. AngelDust especially who gave the Radio Demon a questioning look.

"It's not what you think, Charlie was asleep when I walked in and I'm going to take her to her room for some much-needed rest," Alastor said glaring at AngelDust, knowing very well the spider's mind was in the gutter like always.

AngelDust put his hands up in defense. "Hey, I said nothing to the effects of why she was in your arms. I was just wondering what happened that's all." AngelDust said while giving him a slight grin. Before turning his attention back to Husk. Who had ignored the conversation and kept busy cleaning up the bar area.

Alastor rolled his eyes and proceeded up the stairs and to the elevator. All the while Charlie was still fast asleep. Leaving Alastor to his thoughts and he started humming to himself. Once he had made it to his destination. He was caught off guard by who was waiting for the elevator to come up. Once the doors opened, Vaggie was there waiting to leave the floor. Even almost bumping into Alastor and Charlie. She looked up to see who it was. Becoming annoyed almost instantly, but when she saw who he was holding in his arms. Made her anger boil inside her veins.

"What in the nine circles of hell are you doing with Charlie in your arms?" Vaggie demanded, only for Alastor to put his finger up to his lips. Signaling for her to be quiet and pointed down towards Charlie. To show that she was fast asleep and to not make too much noise. Vaggie looked surprised by this and then was pushed out of the way as Alastor walked passed her and to Charlie's bedroom. Vaggie of course right on his heels.

Alastor walked into Charlie's room and took her straight to her bed. Gently laying her down and then putting her bed covers over her. He smiled down at the princess, but that didn't last long as he turned around to a visibly pissed-off Vaggie. Alastor sighed and pointed towards the door and started walking to leave Charlie's room. Vaggie takes the hint and follows him in the process.

Once they were both back in the hallway. Alastor closed the door and looked down at Vaggie. He knew very well that he was yet again going to get a very un-lady-like lecture from her.

"Now before you start speaking, I would like to remind you. That even though we are out here and not in there. To still keep your voice down to not wake Charlie." Alastor said before signaling Vaggie to now say what she needed to. Vaggie was about to yell at him, but after that, she decided to keep her yelling to more of a whisper instead.

"Now as I asked before, what were you doing carrying Charlie like that shit lord?" Vaggie demanded as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Well isn't it obvious what I was up to? Charlie had fallen asleep at her desk in her office. When I went to speak with her. I took notice of this and took it upon myself to bring her to bed. Figuring she would receive more restful sleep in the comforts of her bed." Alastor finished while giving a sincere smile to a still-upset Vaggie.

"Yeah well if she was sleeping, you should have gotten someone else to do it. Like me for instance. I am still her girlfriend or did you forget?" Vaggie seethed at the Radio Demon. Who in return gave her a very dangerous smile back. He moved a few steps closer to her and bent down so they were at eye level.

"Oh, are you now? Well, the last time I checked you have been ignoring the dear princess after your last tantrum a few days ago. You haven't even taken notice of how tired and out of sorts she has been. Yet here you are claiming to be her oh-so-caring girlfriend." Alastor glared at Vaggie who had slightly gone pale.

"Ye....yeah well the only reason she and I even got into that fight was because of your stupid self!" Vaggie was trying hard not to lose her nerves while dealing with the bastard.

"hm, well may that be true or not. The fight wouldn't have happened if you didn't allow your selfish feelings to get in the way. You could have just been glad that the princess was alive. Just like everyone else was, yet here you are still seething at the thought of Charlie risking her life for me." Alastor stood back up and turned around to leave. Not without giving Vaggie one last piece of advice.

"If I were in your shoes. I would be concerned with my most recent actions. That could drive the dear princess away and to someone else. Just something to think about I suppose." Alastor then left Vaggie alone in the hallway as he disappeared into his shadows. Leaving the hotel completely as he needed to work off some steam.

Vaggie stood there for a moment longer before she went to what she now claimed as her room. Without wanting to admit it to herself. She knew Alastor was right. She had fucked up and now it was causing a rift in her and Charlie's relationship. To the point she was concerned if she had now pushed her so far away. That she wouldn't come back to her. Vaggie laid on her bed lost in thought. Trying to figure out how to make it up to Charlie before it was too late. She refused to lose to that shit lord of a demon. She wouldn't lose Charlie to him, not now or ever. With that being on her mind. She fell asleep. Thinking of ways to make up for her mistakes to her beloved girlfriend.
