Even you are worth dying for

Slowly back to normal....kinda

Charlie was finally up and moving around, well with the help of her overprotective father.

"Dad I don't need your help, I can manage the stairs by myself," Charlie said sighing as she went down the stairs with her father, who had his hand wrapped around her arm. So that he could help her keep upright as she walked. 

"Oh come now Char Char, let your old man help you," Lucifer said with a grin that just made Charlie sigh again, but grin back at her dad. She knew he was just looking out for her. Once they made it down to the lobby. Charlie was finally able to get a good look at the rebuilt lobby and other parts of the hotel.

"Wow! Everyone did such an amazing job! I'm so thankful to have everyone still here with me." Charlie said while she was getting teary-eyed. She had noticed AngelDust was sitting at the bar with Husk. Nifty was doing her usual tasks of keeping everything clean. Sadly Vaggie was nowhere to be seen, but she did notice Alastor who was sitting in a lounge chair reading the newspaper. She blushed slightly, remembering her realization that she discovered last night.

"Um, Charlie sweety are you there?" Lucifer called out to her while waving his hand in front of her face.

"Oh um I'm sorry dad, I guess I was just lost in thought." Charlie looked away from her stare at Alastor and back to her dad.

"Well, where would you like to explore first sweetheart?" Lucifer asked as they slowly walked through the lobby. 

Charlie thought for a moment and then an idea came to mind. "Well, I was wondering if you could take me to see my office?" Charlie asked with the hopes of rebuilding the hotel. They had included her office as well. 

"Yes of course! Wait till you see it! I made sure to put a lot of my focus on your office." Lucifer said with a wide grin. He leads Charlie to part of the hotel that has two double doors. That read above "Office of Charlie & Alastor." This confused Charlie a little bit as her father opened the doors for her. Charlie walked in and was at aw with what she saw. The office was three times bigger than her old one was. There were four large bookshelves filled with different kinds of books. Her desk was to the left of the office. With a comfy-looking office chair behind it, and a big bay window right behind her desk. She walked over to her desk and sat down in her chair. She took in more of the surroundings. She saw that on the other side of the office was indeed Alastor's desk, chair, and even some decor that he would enjoy. 

"Hey Dad, not that I'm complaining about it, but why is Alastor's office also in here with mine?"

Lucifer's smile was replaced with a frown. "Well against my better judgment we...." Lucifer was interrupted by the very Radio Demon that was in question. 

"Well, you see my dear, with the rebuild of the office. It had occurred to everyone that combining our offices would be for the best. You know with us being business partners and all." Alastor said as he walked past a very annoyed-looking Lucifer and walked over to stand next to Charlie. 

"Oh, why yes I do agree that was a smart choice by everyone involved," Charlie spoke as she tried her hardest to not blush with him standing near her. "Well um if you two don't mind I would like to look at the paperwork that has accumulated while I was out." Charlie gave both her dad and Alastor a look. They both nodded and said their goodbyes and told her if she needed anything to call for them. With that, they closed the doors behind them. Charlie let out a sigh as she twirled her chair around to look out her office window. 

Charlie had become lost in thought. Thinking of when she first opened the Happy Hotel, now renamed the Hazbin Hotel thanks to Alastor. Which she believed still had some kind of scheme to help out. She recalled the first time encounter with him and the song that had been sung finalizing their partnership.
