When we arrive in the wilderness, I check my backpack. I have a surprise for everybody later, and it will not work unless I have the board. Kat will be super scared. I hope she gets scared. This will be payback for making me look like an idiot in front of Keira. KEIRA. Anybody else, and it would've been different. Keira... Keira is special. She asked me if I knew how to spell ‘Anaconda.’ I did not, and she laughed. Like anybody cares. Also, she always talks about snakes, as if snakes were the next boy band. “Leo! "I need your help setting up the tent before it falls again!” Keira yells. I rushed over to help, and we managed to get it standing.
“Good job. You managed to make it work.” I say and laugh. Keira laughs a bit, and I notice they blush. Does…Does Keira

like me? No. I am just overthinking things. “Where did the others go?” I ask.
“Sammi is setting up the campfire area, and Kat went to collect firewood.” Keira says. “We’re in charge of getting the tents set up.” I realize that we only have two tents. That means…oh no.
“I must share a tent with Kat?! I will not last five minutes!” I exclaim.
“You will survive a night. Nothing bad will happen. You have watched too many scary movies.” Keira says, smiling. I sigh and finish setting up the other tent. I look over at Sammi, who never really talked. She was always just there, in the background. I wonder why.
