Adhir opened the door to the car as if he was gentleman making Vanshika laugh.
"Aapko main bohot acche se jaanti hun. Yeh nayi acting kaise?" She asked about it. Adhir laughed about it. He leaned his back on the car and she stood before him.
"Kuch nahi bas thoda kisi impress karne ki practice kar raha hun. She is almost like 'Adhir, no stabbing and punching. Be a good boy'. Kya karu abhi.."
Vanshika's eyes went wide as saucers. "Aur abh bata rahe ho!!! Hai kon aapki naagin?"
Adhir chuckled at her interest. "Hai..."
"Oh come on!!! What is with you all doing things and not explaining? Pehle dad mom se milne gaye and he's not telling me what's going on. Abh aap bhi mujhe theek se nahi bata rahe!!"
Adhir laughed at her annoyance. "About him. It is nothing unusual. Since you started out on your own, bhaiya lage hai..."
"Aur mom ne mujhe nahi bataya!!"
"I don't think Bhabhi is interested in sharing that aspect of her life with you just yet, bacha. Hai toh tumhari maa."
"Fine. Undono ko chodungi but aap...." She poked his chest when she saw Adhir leaning to the side to look at someone behind her on the opposite side of the road. Vanshika turned and saw Sam standing there over his bike and just watching both of them.
"Mujhe chodo... it seems someone is waiting for you." Adhir raised an eyebrow. Adhir pushed himself off the car and walked over to Sam.
Sam raised an eyebrow at the brilliant scent of a naag hitting him. It was a powerful scent. Adhir and Sam stood before each other.
"Hi. I'm Samrat Singhania." Sam extended a hand deciding to take a friendly way to tackle this unknown naag near his pyaari naagin.
Adhir eyes grinned in recognition and he shook Sam's hand with a grin that matched his eyes. "What a surprise!!! So you are the mysterious Sam!!" Adhir put an arm around Sam.
Vanshika pushed his arm off Sam. "Kuch mysterious nahi hai. Woh bas hi kehne aaya tha. Jaa raha hai."
"Kya yaar, aise koi treat karta hai guests ko? Should I tell Mrs.Kashyap ki aapko tameez nahi rahi mehmaano ke welcome ki." Adhir commented to her.
"Aap kyu interested hai iske host banne ke liye?"
"So unfair!! Mujhe tumhare boyfriend mein interest nahi hoga toh kaise chalega?"
"Sam mera boyfriend nahi hai!!!"
"I'm sorry. Aapne shayad mujhe pehchaana but I didn't really recognize you." Sam commented.
"Upar chalo. Chai ya whiskey?" Adhir offered, taking Sam ahead with him not waiting Vanshika.
"Mere ghar me mujhe puche bina hi laa rahe hai!!!" Vanshika exclaimed.
The three of them entered her apartment. Adhir picked one of the many bottles of whiskey in the alcohol rack and poured for three of them.
"Adhir. Adhir Vrishik." Adhir introduced himself. Sam was surprised to hear that he was someone from her family. Sam almost thought some naag had showed up. The way she seemed so casual with him made him slightly jealous but hearing that he was someone family, Sam mentally grinned.
"Mere chachu hai." Vanshika pointed out.
"I've heard tum bhai ki naak ke neeche se bhaga le gaye V ko?" Adhir grinned, clinking the wine glass with him.
"Bohot purani baat hai. I don't seem to have met him for a long time."
"He's hundred percent not going to be okay with meeting his daughter's boyfriend." Adhir laughed.
