The girl walked a few more meters til the four found themselves on the southern edge of the forest by the stream.
"Look!" said the girl, and pointed her finger at the wooden dam.
"Last night I heard a crack noise, and saw some people. They broke it and... and it's been 12 hours that I've been trying to figure out how to fix it".
The Hopefields all looked at the large gash in the wooden planks that once formed the dam of the stream.
The girl was so upset that she didn't even introduce herself, and when Trevor finally moved his attention from her magnetic figure to the dam, he felt heartbroken.
Heartbroken because he understood.
No child of the Earth would ever do that.
That's what caused the flood. He thought.
The wild girl had managed to patch up much of the hole with random broken branches, which were coarsely intertwined but could stem by far the water spills.
Zeph looked very sadly towards the stream and exclaimed:
"What a waste of water!"
"I don't know how long it will last" said the young woman in leaves.
Zephyra then made a brief mudra prayer, breathing and joining both hands at Anahata, the height of her Heart Chakra.
Reuniting with her intentions, she took a moment to cleanse herself of that vision and of the ecological damage she had witnessed that day.
She didn't really understand who or what made that hole, but she knew it wasn't an accident.
"Forgive them, Mother Earth" she said. And turned to the girl:
"We'll fix it. Don't worry. But tell us, who did it?"
Clover noticed just right then, that the girl turned dark in her face and lowered her head.
She was also starting to shake.
With no struggle, the youngest daughter of the Earth kindled another fire.
And that made the tall girl smile, opening her eyes wide and crouching down immediately. She sighed, happily and relieved, in front of the flames, and Clover's whole body was crossed by a great shiver of satisfaction, as if she felt the feelings of the Fire itself.
She smiled, touched her shoulder, and sat next to her: "What's your name?"
"Sybilla, what about you?" she asked, gently caressing her.
"Clover," she replied joyfully.
"Oh, that's nice! I love clovers. Your fire is great, you know?"
"I know." said the little girl, hugging her.
It was incredibly easy to make friends with Clover.
The two older brothers smiled, still uncertain whether to trust the girl or not.
But they knew that Clover was never wrong about her friendships, she had a sixth sense for people, and that relieved them already.
"Oh, I'm so silly!" Sybilla said, leaning over to grab an odd piece of clothed cloth.
"There you go! I'm so worried about the creek, I forgot my manners."
She opened the bundle and, in the light of the fire, some big blackberries, raspberries, and wild strawberries appeared, fresh and juicy.
