"Show me."

"No."

"Just once," Theo begs. "I want to see for myself."

"I told you no."

"Don't bother," Blaise interjects. "Anything Wood related is too precious to discuss. He's ridiculously attached to her."

They've come to have a piss at him. Strolled in like they own the place and selected their target. At least Devyn isn't here to witness. Or it's a shame she is gone to the library because his friends would at least hold their tongues in her presence.

"First of all, I'm not," Draco scoffs. His eyes narrow at his friend leaning against Devyn's closet, who has a smile on his face. A smile. "And what is your good mood about?"

"Nothing." Blaise doesn't falter. "Don't bother."

Yeah. I really shouldn't.

Him and Daphne appear cordial with one another, so what is more to ask?

Theo comes closer to the bed Draco is lounging on, grinning like his five-year-old self on christmas morning. His hands make that toddler like grabby motion. "Show me."

"No."

"Just one peek?" Insistant, he sits down by Draco's thigh. He's practically vibrating. "I couldn't believe it when she told me."

"Stop talking to her," Draco suggests, his smile strained. "Then you don't have to believe anything."

Theo aims that grin at Blaise over his shoulder. "He's scared I'll fall for his girl. She's hot," he tells Draco seriously. "Stupidly. That dark angel costume was-"

"Theo." Draco shoots a look of warning, his pulse ticking already.

Blaise cuts in again, "What did you say it was again?"

"D.W." Theo looks most pleased.

Draco will butcher Devyn personally for revealing that little piece of information.

He shudders at the idea of them having a laugh about it. He doubts that's what really happening, considering how she initially reacted. So overwhelmed. Touched but not quite disgusted. But maybe after sitting with it for a moment, she came to realise how pathetic that is.

It's not to him, no matter what anyone says.

Blaise shakes his head in disbelief. "I can't believe you hid it from us for-when did you get it again?"

"I never said," Draco grits out through clenched teeth. "As soon as my wound healed."

He had been thinking about getting said tattoo in some way or another a lot sooner. Decided so on one of his pacing hours in his bedroom back at Malfoy Manor while Devyn was right here, getting tortured for being an amazingly compassionate witch.

But he couldn't risk anyone seeing and asking question. Even speculations were too much. She needed to stay disconnected from him in every possible way.

"When was that?" Blaise muses. "June?"

"About." June 29th, a month before her birthday-not that it relates in any way.

"Six months you walk around with her initals branded on you and you claim you're not into her."

He never claimed no such thing.

Draco only stated that he does not regret setting her free.

"You're so done for," Theo says giddily. "Now show me. She said the left arm-or was it the right?" he specualtes while attempting to take matters into his own hands, but Draco pushes him off.
