The comet in the sky soon crashed into the earth more specifically the Everglade Mountains, and exploded into fine dust that spread across the continent unannounced to the people who lived here. Scarlett and Caelum stood together on the hill until someone approached from behind. "Sir, is everything alright?" Caelum and Scarlett both turned to face a man younger than Caelum wearing the same uniform "Yes we are fine and everyone is safe thank you Tyler. I do have one job for you, take Scarlett back to the palace I have something to deal with." Caelum said turning to face the figure in the trees.

After Tyler and Scarlett left Caelum walked into the woods and slammed his fist into one of the trees making it shake, dropping a sheathed sword. "You can't tell me you had that hidden there this whole time." the figure in the shadows spoke "I saw you early during my training session with the cadets, and put it up there just in case." Caelum said unsheathing his sword and darting towards the figure. Exile quickly reacted and dodged but slipped on his landing. "So why were after her." Caelum asked, launching another attack at Exile. He thought for a minute then attacked Caelum sending Caelum tumbling into one of the trees "Something about her seems powerful and she could stand in my way." he said and started quickly retreating. "Run you coward! We will fight again one day and you will be in chains." Caelum yelled watching as Exile ran away. Caelum walked over to where the stranger had slipped and found a metal tag with an engraving on it 'Exile' Caelum thought to himself 'So his name was Exile.' He returned to the palace in ColourKore and was met by his brother "Thank you for protecting Scarlett." Edward said kindly. "No Problem." He quickly said before walking up to James and pulling him into a back room. "We need to talk James, now." Caelum spoke harshly.

*A Few Days Later*

The second week of the gathering has started but strange occurrences started happening the days after the comet lit up the sky, an unknown sickness plagued the land, infecting everyone in its path and eventually made its way into the castle. It started with Estell and Crestella they were the first to fall ill, their parents decided to leave ColourKore blaming it for poisoning their daughters. Even though we took precautions everyone still got sick, it spread to many of the Kingdoms. On the final few days in ColourKore, Scarlett and Hunter were standing on the balcony looking over the courtyard below them.

"Scarlett are you alright? Ever since Crestella and Estell left you have been awfully quiet." Hunter asked in concerned, "Yes I'm fine, at least I think this is getting intense Hunter. All of our friends are sick." Hunter watched as Scarlett became increasingly nervous, he wrapped his arm softly around, "Don't worry Scarlett- every- everyone-will be." Hunter gasped struggling for air, coughing harshly between every word. He collapsed to the ground, before Scarlett could react she saw Caelum beneath them in the  courtyard "Caelum! Please Hunter needs help" Scarlett yelled quickly getting his attention. Caelum quickly ran to where she was grabbing medical attendants on his way. Hunter had fallen gravely ill and he soon left along with his family and returned to their home. After Hunter fell sick Scarlett cried for days thinking about him, locking herself in her room in the castle, trying to console her mind from the loss of her friends.

The only Kingdoms left in ColourKore were Rosewood, Cordelia and Phaedra, despite being in contact with most of the people infected, these three kingdoms seemed immune. Scarlett laid on the bed in her room in the castle, she cried softly to herself thinking of Hunter, Sabrina knocked on the door and entered the room, "Hey I know your worried about Hunter but Dad says we are leaving in a few hours." Scarlett stayed silent staring at the ceiling. 'Hunter is sick, Crestella, Estell, Irene, Flora and many of my friends. Why is this happening.' Tears filled her eyes but was distracted by a knock at the door "Come in." Scarlett responded, Caelum entered and Scarlett sat up from the bed and winced in pain, feeling a heavy weight on her shoulders and her mind clouded.
