*Scarlett's POV*
After the fire my family moved to ColourKore, Hunter and I spent a lot of time together, I tried my best to avoid my parents but it was quite difficult. "Scarlett are you okay." Sabrina asked, "If I'm being honest I'm really not, I saw all my friends become severely ill, the person closest to me almost died-" "Damn... I didn't know you were so upset we would have found you sooner." Sabrina and me both turned to see John and Ashley standing behind us
*Thrid Person POV*
"Ash? John? Where, how did you find us?" Sabrina asked running up and hugging Ashley, "Well after you left we kinda defended a general from ColourKore and asked if we needed a position in an army. And well now we are here." John laughed and walked towards Scarlett and hugged her. looking behind her John saw Hunter standing there staring at him, "Can I help you?" John said walking towards Hunter, "Actually-" "Hunter wait it's just a misunderstanding this is John one of my best friends and John next time ask me before you try attacking someone. geez." Scarlett said walking up to Hunter and gently grabbing Hunter's arm and wrapping it around her shoulder.
"Well I'm a goofball sorry. My name is John I used to be in service to Rosewood and Scarlett's parents." Hunter stepped forward and introduced himself to John. "So what's new with you guys." Sabrina asked, "Well dad got sent here for a mission report from the civil war lines two years ago, and while we were here ColourKore was attacked-" "To make a long story short they save me from a failing rocks in the canyon and now they are working for me temporarily." Caelum said, appearing behind John and Ashley. "Hi Caelum, how are you?" Scarlett said, rolling her eyes and turning to Sabrina and chuckling, "I'm quite well actually do you mind if we talk." Caelum said looking at the other four that were beside, they all nodded.
Scarlett walked with Caelum through the town market before reaching a hill outside of the village. "Scarlett you remember what I told you about the laws here well, with Exile on the loose I'm worried about your safety." Caelum said, "I guess you heard about my parents moving back to Rosewood to live with my uncle. I don't want to go Exile is after me and I don't want to hurt them." Scarlett said turning to face the village at the bottom of the hill. "Listen it is up to you provided you don't leave ColourKore you are protected by our laws, and hey I have a very nice apartment near town square funny enough John and Ashley rent out two of the rooms." Caelum laughed trying to lighten my mood. "And what would I do while I'm here sitting around and cleaning the laundry, I can help, I can do more than just sitting around I can help you on-" Scarlett continued before being interrupted, "No. I'm sorry but no. ColourKore is rich in values especially in the law that says Women can't join the army." Caelum said firmly.
Scarlett turned away, "Listen I know you want to help with everything that has happened and with power struggles around us but there might be other ways. My offer still stands." Caelum said leaving Scarlett alone on the hill the breeze catching her hair and blowing it lightly. 'There is something I can do besides sitting around and I won't sit ideally, while the people around me are injured. I'm sorry Caelum but I have to do something.' Scarlett thought, walking down the path back to her friends.
*A Few Hours Later*
Scarlett, Sabrina, Aria, and their parents stood just outside the border of ColourKore waiting for their uncle to show up. Then he arrived, the council of ColourKore joined the family at the gates, Scarlett stood in the gate beside her was Caelum, "What are you thinking about." He asked, "I don't even know I want to stay but I also want to go. I don't know what to do next." Scarlett admitted "Well I think-" "Scarlett! Come on let's go now. I'm not putting up with your protest. We are leaving." Edward yelled at her. 'Come on Scarlett you need to be-!'
