The only prince of Elfhame was loved by the people. His black hair made him look a lot like his father making his mother love him as well. However he always seemed to be picked on by his sisters for being younger, which apparently means he cant do anything, even Lyra who was only a few minutes older than him.

"Hey mum!" Caspian crashes through the doors to the royal bedroom with his sister, Lyra, collapsing into his mother's arms to the great annoyance of Tatterfell, who was trying to tie up his mothers hair in an elaborate hairstyle. Lyra was hugging her and crawled up their mum's neck - almost definitely getting in the way of the maid pulling strands of hair out of the High Queen's face, brushing it, tying in sparkly gold and kale green ribbons every few strands then wrapping into a circles fixing it in the middle. Caspian lies on the matching green dress she wears: low cut and sleeveless it going down just below her knees with sparkling gold heels.

"Hi Casp, hey Lyra." Jude laughs a little and tries to cover her smile after seeing the exasperated look Tatterfell is giving as Lyra plays with loose areas of her mother's chestnut locks.

I imagine it to look like this with the dress being green, the flower crown being an actual crown and her having the gold and green in her hair

"I see we have company." Cardan comes through the door leading from the High King and Queen's room into the family room (with all the family in it).

"Yes." Jude sighs as she picks up her children and hands them to her husband, finally letting her maid finish with her hair. "It seems our two youngest refuse to go to court with us - not even if they're with their sisters." Jude replies, despite him not asking a question. Caspian and Lyra nod enthusiastically even though them agreeing makes them both look scared of their own people. Lyra announces she doesn't want to go to the court tonight and will instead stay back and enjoy it form a far. "I'm tired and need to revise for my test in palace school." Caspian had already revised and happily so as he loved going to court - as long as he could stay with his mother or father and not have to interact with anyone at all. He hardly wanted to be seen by his subjects: he finds it really awkward when they bow even if he is seven and they could kill him if they really wanted to and there would be no consequences.

He hugs his mother and she carries him through the hallways and into the Great Hall (I don't know if that's what it's called, I just think it's a nice replacement - please comment if you know where) and trumpets blared, alerting the court of the High King and High Queen's arrival, "Behold the High King and Queen." An announcer declares their presence as if everyone didn't know already with the trumpets and the path clearing to the dais. They moved forward and Caspian felt everyone was looking at him (even though it was shared between the monarchs) so he buried himself in his mother and tried to focus on the music, which is pretty much the only reason he wants to go to the parties, and not everyone in the room bowing: even his sister Astra did a small curtsy and smiled at him, his eldest sister simply nodded in acknowledgment and smiled raising a glass to her mother and father in politeness. After a few seconds, everyone rose and started the dancing again. Jude and Cardan sat on their thrones and Irene walked over from where she was with her friends - she held her hands out and Caspian reluctantly agreed to go in them, allowing Jude to make herself more comfortable and the throne and Cardan helps her straighten the crown on her head. "Hey. Do you like the court now." She teases him as he shakes her head - they all know that he only likes coming because of the music that he can't hear from his rooms as they're too far away.

Caspian is getting better with his shyness, but still doesn't want to be alone from his parents for too long so refuses to stay the night with Irene like she so wishes.

I hoped you liked the late upload - I will probably take a while to upload again, I'm really stuck on ideas and in my other book/oneshots that I wrote for a different fandom, I talked about my writer's block which is really hard to write through. Please message me for more ideas if you want to read about Astra - I've got an idea which might come out if I can be bothered to power through. - Writer :)
