As Mila and the Ferrari team flew to Miami, she and the boys decided to launch the relationship between her and Charles. While they had been in Monaco a few paparazzi had spotted the two together, and to escape any rumours they decided to announce it to the world.

"I'm nervous Mila, I won't lie. The people loved Alex." Charles looked shyly at the girl, who smiled softly back.

"I don't care what they thought Charles.  All I need to know is that the announcement won't change anything between us, and from what we have discussed it won't. I am perfectly okay with a slight amount of hate for a little while."

"I am more concerned about my own situation right now to worry too much about you guys right now, sorry." Carlos sat with his elbows on the table, his head in his hands.

"Carlos, you haven't mentioned that to Charles yet!" Mila hissed at her brother.

"Oh shit." Carlos sprung his head up from his hands.

"What? What has he not mentioned?"

"Nothing!" The two siblings replied in unison.

"You kind of have to tell me now you two. I'll annoy you too bad if you don't." Charles leaned back and crossed his arms, knowing that it wouldn't take long for one of the two to spill the secret.

Carlos leaned closer to Charles across the table, whispering in his ear. Charles's jaw dropped. "YOU WHAT?"

"Shhhh," Mila hurriedly tried to calm down Charles. "You have to not tell anyone, I will actually physically kill you if you do."

Charles sat still, shellshocked from the news. "But, how? When? What?" His eyes widened for a moment. "Was it that night in Barcelona? When you two-"

Carlos almost jumped on the man, covering his mouth with his hand. "We don't have to talk about that in front of my sister!"

"Ewwww I definitely don't want to hear it if it's TMI for you Carlos, yuck."

Arriving in Miami was the most famous I have ever felt. Even with having a relatively well known Dad and brother, I have never seen more paparazzi, and they were all looking at me. I am not going to lie, it was very intimidating. Charles held my hand as we walked through the crowd to reach our hotel and I felt safe again, his eyes were like an oasis in the crowds of people.

"Those crowds are worse than last year, I didn't think that was possible." Charles sighed as he collapsed onto the bed. Mila was busy taking a dress out of her bag to hang up before the wrinkles were permanent.

"That's crazy. I can't imagine everyone being here just for me."

"It is pretty scary, especially when it's a new Grand Prix. There's no legacy behind this yet, so everyone is here purely for us."

"I'm glad I brought nice clothes, can't be seen as Charles Leclerc's ugly new girlfriend."

"Don't say that Mila!" Charles sat up in bed and frowned at Mila. She giggled to herself, shaking her head at how serious he took the joke.

Mila got out her laptop and turned it on, during the short break she had taken some time off work. She messaged Sam, asking if he wanted to grab lunch tomorrow to catch up.  After checking in on her work team, she went to the en suite and washed her face. She was tired but it was still light outside, which wasn't an issue for Charles apparently. Mila slipped into bed beside him, lying with her back to the window, facing Charles's back. He grunted and rolled over, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her closer to his chest, never waking.

"I love you Charlie." Mila pecked him on the cheek and closed her eyes, falling asleep quickly.
