*Three months later*

Charles had been on a winning streak since Italy. By the time of the Belgian grand prix, the only other winner had been Carlos in Silverstone.Charles was leading the championship by a large margin, with only Carlos and Max being within touching distance.

The summer break was the only chance for Mila and Charles to have a proper holiday together, and due to this they decided to take a yacht trip around the coast of Monaco and France with Pierre and Kika. The group spent the majority of their time swimming and drinking, and the two women took full advantage of the sun at every opportunity.

"Do you want to stop tonight for dinner at a restaurant? I'm getting tired of having to cook for myself." Pierre complained as he lay on a sun bed on the deck.

"Way to show your manliness Pierre, I have quite liked having us all together to cook for," Kika replied. "We are like a little family."

"Speaking of Mila, how are Carlos and Isa?" Charles sat up, setting his book down on a small table.

"They're good. I was talking to my mom this morning and she said they were getting their stuff moved into the new house."

"I'm so happy for them, they're so cute together." Kika stood up and walked to Pierre, rubbing his shoulders.

"Not as cute as us mi amore." Pierre looked up to her, as she leaned down to kiss him.

"Ugh get a room you two." Charles groaned at the couple, getting up from his seat. "Come on Mila, let's leave these two."

Mila held Charles's hand as he pulled her up. The two walked around the boat to the side they had been using as a diving platform for the week. Charles smirked slightly as they walked around.

"Charles, I swear if you push me in I will kill you."

"No you wouldn't. You love me too much."

"Don't test me Leclerc. I will." Mila moved her arms into a ninja-like position.

Charles laughed at her, then turned and jumped into the water himself, deliberately making a large splash, which fully soaked Mila.

"CHARLES!"

The man came to the surface, looking up at the shock on Mila's face.

"What? I didn't push you in?"

Mila glared back at him "I swear to god Charles. I won't let you back on the boat."

"That is fine," Charles floated on his back, the sun warming the water around him. "I have always felt at home in the water anyway."

"You are so annoying Charles," Mila shook her head and laughed slightly. What a child.

"You may as well come in now. You're already wet." Charles raised his arms questioningly.

Mila took off the scarf she had holding her hair up, and set it on the deck, as well as her sunglasses. She didn't love heights, but this wasn't too tall. I'll be fine, don't be silly. She stepped forward so her feet were half over the edge of the boat. She took a breath and a large step off the side. The fall was just long enough to feel her stomach drop as she fell, which Mila hated.

As water enveloped her body, she focused on getting back to the surface, being able to see where Charles was still floating on his back. Mila swam directly underneath him, coming up and poking him in the back. He screamed louder than either wanted to admit. It sounded like he had been stabbed rather than poked.

Kika and Pierre ran around the corner to find an embarrassed Charles and a hysterical Mila in the water.

"What happened?!" Pierre shouted. "I thought someone had been shot or something."

Mila swam back over to the ladder of the boat, pulling herself up and back onto the deck. "Charlie just got a bit scared. That happens when you soak me."

Charles came back up onto the boat, still slightly red in the face, but he looked as perfect as ever. Mila was reminded of the first photo she had seen of him since the Spanish GP party. She was also reminded of how scared she was of seeing him again after so long, and how stupid that was.

"Mila?" Kika asked, waving a hand in front of her friend's eyes. "Are you good?"

"Oh, yeah, sorry. Just daydreaming."

"Of course you were babe, you have me to look at." Charles walked over to the woman, flexing his biceps like a Greek god.

"Shut up mate. I'm going to be sick." Pierre made a disgusted face at his friend.

"Stop watching then Pierre, this isn't for you." Charles rebutted as he motioned to Mila that they should go to their room to change for dinner.

"Okay, we are stopping here for dinner then?" Mila asked the group. A resounding yes was heard, so Mila and Charles retreated to their cabin.

As soon as the door was closed, Charles turned to face Mila, pushing her against it.

"You have no idea how hard I have had to hold myself back today. You look amazing in red." Charles's eyes scanned Mila's body, her small red bikini only covering what needed to be in the company of friends.

"What are you going to do about it?" Mila teased.

"Don't Mila, we need to get changed for dinner."

Mila pulled the back of his head towards her, their lips melding together, passion sparked underneath her skin as he kissed her back.

"We have 30 minutes?" Mila said with a smirk.

"You don't know what you do to me Sainz." Charles laughed as he lifted Mila and set her on the bed.

As the two emerged onto the deck half and hour later, Kika and Pierre were already sitting ready to go.

"You do know the walls aren't soundproof mate?"
