Snowy Story.

Chapter 4

Four more years have passed since Jay met Ed and Edna. The walker couple ended up adopting Jay and taking him home. As the years have gone on Jay helped Ed with his inventing work and Edna with her garden. The boy is brilliant. Jay has grown a liking to building and creating stuff. Whenever someone would ask Jay what he wanted to be when we grew up the answer would always be an engineer. He helped his new parents around the junkyard a lot.

It is a Monday in January and Jay wakes up around 8:00. As he makes his way down to the kitchen he stops. Jay's hands have felt weird all morning but he just put it off saying it was probably just asleep. It is now 8:38 when the boy finished his breakfast.

"Shower son. You smell like a Ox." Ed explained. Jay nodded his head and started to get ready for the shower. Thirty minutes passed and Jay was outside helping his father with a car he is building.

"OW I GOT ZAPPED" Jay yelled and jumped back.

"Now now carefully son. Are you okay?" Ed responded. Jay nodded and continue to connect wires. He froze and lightning and electricity started to form around his hands. He jumped back scared and Ed ran to shut off the power. As Jay shook and tried his best to get the electricity off himself it only spread to the rest of his body. He realized that the energy didn't hurt, it felt powerful. Jay realized that it wasn't electricity but it was lightning.

"What's going on.." Jay asked puzzled. Edna yelled for Jay to come inside as she needed to talk to him about something. The lightning went away as Jay calmed down and he went inside the RV.

As Jay walked into the Rv he saw both of his parents sitting on the couch. Edna looked to Jay and signaled to sit down, so Jay sat down.

"There is something me and your mother haven't told you." Ed sighed. Jay looked confused. He wondered what they have been hiding. Was it something about those elemental figures or a new invention or someone died?? Edna snapped him out of his thoughts when she spoke up.

"When we took you home the night that we found you, and sat you down on the couch I got a text. It was your father." Edna started.

"Don't call him my father. He will never be my father." Jay interrupted in a stern tone.

"Then, Cliff, Sent me a text the night we found you." Edna responded. Jay nodded.

"He was explaining that someone said that we know where you were. He was trying to find you. He was also asking for us to call him so he could talk to you. Me and your father said no. What you said that night, about your father, made us believe that he wouldn't be a good dad to you. He would always be busy so we decided to block him. After he blocked him however, we decided to do some research on your mother." Edna continued. "Her name was Libber Gordon, Yes?" Edna asked. Jay only nodded.

"Well. We did research on her and it stated that she was the Master of lightning, the blue ninja." Edna explained. Jays eyes got huge, 'that is what those colorful figures were. NINJA'. Jay thought.

"You showed us just now that you have inherited her powers. You are the Master of Lightning." Jay was listening to his mother in awe.

"There is this Ninja master on the hill. He lives in the Monastery of Spinjitsu. We were wondering if you wanted us to contact him. He might be able to help you control your powers. " Edna explained. Jay nodded quickly and excitedly.
