People were always telling Blue she could be very blunt; she spoke without thinking a lot, sometimes even hurting people.

She never meant any harm though, her roommate Second Coming, or Orange as she preferred, even said it was refreshing, especially since it meant Blue never kept quiet for long when something was bothering her.

That also meant Orange was the first to find out about her crush on the blonde she saw every night when she went to bed, Orange wasn't usually the type to tease, but Blue did wake up a lot to questions about Yellow, more often than not with a teasing look.

Purple, her friend at the restaurant she worked at, wasn't much better, since she could read people like open books; asking almost every morning how Yellow was doing with an amused look.

----------

"Blue!" Orange called, waving a hand in the dark haired girl's face.

Blue blinked, staring at the artist curiously. "What?"

The two were sat at their small dinner table, still in their pajamas as they ate the eggs on toast Blue made for breakfast.

Orange grinned. "Are you still half asleep?"

Blue scowled and took a large bite of her toast. "He asked something really weird last night." she admitted.

"Yellow?" Orange asked, quickly getting worried at the downcast look on her roommate's face. "What did he say?"

"Yellow... asked if I was real." Blue mumbled.

Orange winced, knowing the older girl was practically in love with him, and they'd never even met! "You've known each other forever though!"

Blue sighed. "I told him I was real, and we talked after that." she smiled fondly, remembering all the sweet things he said.

Orange smiled as well, watching the chef drift back into her own head, thinking about the boy she loved; at least she didn't deny it like most people.

"Are you ever going to tell him?" the artist blurted.

"Tell him what?" Blue asked, frowning in confusion.

"That you love him," Orange grinned.

Blue sighed again, ignoring the teasing. "If we ever meet in real life." she answered, standing up. "I'm going to get changed, you should too."

Orange blinked at her, Blue hadn't even finished her breakfast yet! Maybe I tease her too much, she thought, finishing her own food and moving to get dressed as well.

"Hey, wait a minute," Orange cried as Blue put her coat on and reached for the door, who just turned curiously. "Why don't we have a movie night tonight?"

Blue turned back to the door, though the artist caught the interested look she had. "Sure,"

"Great! I'll get some snacks on the way home." Orange cheered, trying to lighten the mood. "I'll get your favourite too."

Blue nodded her thanks and left, smiling at Orange before shutting the door.

"I'm starting to not like Yellow," Orange muttered, going to her room to finish getting changed.

----------

"Hey Blue," Purple waved as Blue got to the restaurant they both worked at, shutting the staff-only door and going to her locker.

"Hey Purple," Blue returned as she took her coat off and swapped it for her work uniform.

Purple tilted her head and frowned. "Are you okay?"

Blue blinked, almost forgetting the younger girl was practically an empath. "I just didn't sleep well."

Purple raised an eyebrow. "Trouble in paradise?"

I really need to stop telling everyone, Blue frowned, but her warm cheeks answered the question for her.

"Is your boyfriend being mean to you?" Purple asked, holding her phone like a weapon.

"No," Blue smiled. "But thanks Purple."

Purple knew Blue was lying, but decided to just let it go, even though she couldn't help worrying. "You ready to go?"

"Yep!" Blue answered cheerfully, hoping she'd feel better after she started cooking, and followed her friend into the kitchen.

"Hey Blue, Purple," a red haired man greeted as Purple walked past, Blue quick to grab a menu and read through it.

"Hey Maroon." Purple greeted in passing, before going out to the main area of the restaurant.

"You ready to feed some hungry people?" Maroon asked cheerfully, turning to Blue, who nodded.

Maroon was a weird man, though not in a bad way; he was very cheerful, claiming to be about a decade older than the two girls, not that either of them believed him since he didn't look much older than them.

He told Blue when she first started he didn't like seeing people upset, so every day he greeted everyone as cheerfully as he could.

"Let's get started then," Maroon grinned, offering her a spatula.

"Yeah," she agreed, the other chefs just watching in amusement.

----------

"See you tomorrow," Orange waved as she left the art studio she worked at.

"See you Sec," her boss, a dark haired man with glasses, called back.

"See you tomorrow Orange," another dark haired boy a few years older than her waved energetically, smiling softly at her.

Orange just smiled back and left, walking down the street to the rental store; Vic was really nice, despite always painting such morbid things.

She was about to turn into the rental store when someone ran past, bumping into her as he did. "Sorry!" he cried, stopping long enough to make sure she was okay.

"It's fine," Orange reassured, he just nodded with an apologetic look and ran off; as she picked out hers and Blue's favourite movies and snacks, she couldn't help thinking how much he resembled Blue's (detailed) description of Yellow.
