Your determination failed. Eren was nowhere to be found, he didn't show up to school yesterday and he wasn't at school today. Today was friday and the beach trip was tomorrow, if he was gonna be there, you would ask him then.
You got home from school and went to your room to start packing your bags. It was just for the weekend so you didn't need to pack too much but at the same time you didn't know what to pack.
Armin knocked on your door shortly after. "Hey are you all ready?" He focused on your bed to see a huge amount of clothes piled on your bed. He chuckled. "You do know it's just for the weekend right?"
"Yes but I'm not going to go looking ugly, I need to look cute."
"You tryna impress someone?" He joked. You scoffed and looked at him. "I don't need to impress anyone. If they aren't impressed with me now then they aint shit." You assured him. He chuckles and looks at his phone. "Okay well don't stay up too late." You threw him a thumbs up and sighed as you looked at the mess on your bed.
You finally were able to decide on a good amount of clothes for the weekend. You mainly packed bathing suits but you also added some extra clothes, pajamas and some cover ups as well.
You decide on taking a shower so you grab a towel and the other things you need. You made your way to the bathroom and undressed. You turn the water on and wait till it gets warm. Your eyes make eye contact with your reflection in the mirror and you scrunch your face. Even though you may appear as a confident person, you struggle a lot with self image and there was your ex to blame for it.
You try to keep a confident act to help yourself and so you don't feel stupid around others, that's the last thing you need right now, especially if you want a new start. You stopped looking at yourself in the mirror to avoid any more thoughts coming to mind. You step in the shower and do your showering routine.
You wrapped the towel around your body as you stepped out. From the corner of your eye, you saw your phone turn on.
Mikasa: hey love, you all ready for tmrw?
You: yes ma'am
Mikasa: perfect, has armin told u anything abt the room pairings?
You: nope, nothing yet
Mikasa: damn, ig we'll find out tmrw. Imma go to sleep then. sleep well luv
You: thank u, u as well
see you tmrw
You hear a loud bang from your wall, causing you to jolt up. You turn your lamp on and look around your room. "What the fuck was that?!" You thought. Your eyes scan the room and everything is still intact. You decide to check on Armin.
You knocked on his door and there was no response. You slightly turn the doorknob and peek in this room. "Armin? You okay?" You get no response but you hear small grunts. You hesitate to go in until you heard him call you. 'y/n? y/n is that you?! Can you come help me" You walk in to see Armin on the floor and a bookshelf on top of him. You stand there and laugh for a moment and take a picture of him. "BRO HELP MEEEE IM LITERALLY GETTING CRUSHEDDDD"
