You woke up and got ready for the day ahead of you. You woke up earlier than you normally would and noticed the sun has yet to rise. You took a quick shower and put on a dark red bikini. You quietly exited the beach house, making sure to not make too much noise so that it won't wake up Mikasa, Sasha, and Pieck.

You look at your surroundings and notice no one is awake yet. "Must be earlier than I thought, or maybe these people just wake up late as hell." Your feet begin to move to the direction of the beach. You close your eyes as you walk, taking in the ocean breeze blowing in your face. You gently sit on the sand, your eyes immediately inverting to the sky. The sun was soon set to rise and you couldn't wait for it to shine.

Suddenly, shortly after, you feel a presence next to you. You look over to see a muscular tattooed man. It was Eren. He was wearing a black compression tank top, giving you a clear view of his tattoos, his hair was in the bun he seemed to wear every time. He looks at you, then glances at your wrist before moving his view back to you. He extends his hand out, giving you a cup. "Hope you like coffee."

You glance at the coffee in his hands and take it from his grasp. You flash him a smile and look back at the ocean. "Thank you." He returned his smile, and you could feel him staring. But he wasn't staring at you, but rather the bracelet on your wrist. "So... what are you doing up so early? I didn't expect anyone to be up right now." Eren looks up at the sky and stretches. "Honestly, neither did i. I'm not a morning person at all, but i guess i was too excited for today i couldn't sleep. What about you?" You look up at the sky again before responding. You smile as you see the sun rising on the horizon of the ocean. On the other side of the sky, the moon was still visible. "I'm not a morning person either, but I love watching the sunrise, especially at beaches."

"I was always a big fan of watching the sunset but something about watching the sunrise just makes me feel calm and content, almost like there's a sense of hope, but maybe that's just me." He says. You look over at him and smile. You knew exactly the feeling he was referring to. After all, you felt the same way about similar things. "I know exactly how you feel."

He took a sip of his coffee and sat silently for a few seconds taking in the scene before that laid in front of the two of you. "By the way... I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah, what's up?" He stays silent for a moment. "You know... Your bracelet... Did you get it anywhere special, or does it have any significance to you?" You furrow your brows in confusion. "Didn't you ask me that yesterday?"

He nods. "I did but, i didn't want to pry too much on it."

"Yeah? So how come you're asking again?" He chuckles and leans back, his arms behind him. "I just want to get to know you, that's all." You nod and look down at your bracelet and brush your fingertips on it. "I guess so, yeah. I got it from someone years back, but I can't remember who, as I mentioned yesterday."

"Did the person you get it from have the same bracelet?" He asks. You think for a moment, your mind still puzzled as you try to recollect your memories "I think? to be honest with you, i don't really remember anything."

"Hmm... What about the person you got it from... You said you don't remember their name, right?" You sigh, "Nope. It was so long ago, and a lot has happened since that I just forgot. All I know is that they were important to me... Whoever they were." Eren nods. "I have one more question if you don't mind."

"Go ahead,"

"How old were you when you got it?" You raise an eyebrow and think for a moment. "Mmm... I think I was about maybe four or five. I know I got it before I moved to New York."

"And you said you got it from someone you knew who was important to you... Were they family?" You shake your head. "No no, it was a friend,"

"Oh." He stayed silent for a few seconds, it seemed like he was thinking about something, and you were curious about what, but you decided to wait a bit to see if he said anything before asking. ".. Like, a childhood friend?"
