Chapter 1: Me & Ichinose

The day following the special exam, Horikita proposed to have a get together with Ichinose's class to thank her for assistance during the last special exam.

The meeting was held in Hirata's room as we didn't want to attract any unnecessary attention towards us.

Kei, Hirata and I were included from our class. From class C there were Ichinose, Kanzaki, Akimura and Watanabe who came for this meeting.

Today was our day off so I particularly wanted to slack off in my room but Kei insisted that I come.

Our meeting particularly went as Ichinose again asking for forgiveness from Kei, and Horikita thanking Ichinose for her help.

They also were discussing working together in the next special exam if possible, and today instead of taking any initiative I let Horikita and Hirata handle the conversation with them.

Finally when it seemed like the meeting had come to an end, I said I have got something to do and left the room.

I still had to talk with Sakayanagi sensei to know if there are any recent activities from my father's side. I know he won't stay silent, and now when Yagami has been expelled, he would take even more compulsive actions so I had to be better prepared for it beforehand.

But instead of going to my room first, I went to Keyaki mall as I had some things to purchase.

When I reached the front gate of the mall, I heard a familiar voice calling my name from behind.I turned back and it was Ichinose who was standing there.

"Fancy meeting you here, Ayanokoji-kun. What's a coincidence, I didn't know the thing you left to do was also related to coming to Keyaki Mall."

Seems like Ichinose had left the meeting soon after I left otherwise there was no way she would be here.

"You left the meeting too early, this was not expected from one of the center figure and class C's leader."

I asked this question just to check what Ichinose would reply as I know it's just not a coincidence for her to be here.

"Our talk was almost done, Horikita-san and I had planned to work together for the next exam too."

"And I also had to run some errands so I thought about leaving the meeting early."

It was almost certain before I even left that Horikita would like to have Ichinose's class on our side considering the outcome of our last special exam. And Ichinose was also looking fine with it. So, I think it was to be expected.

"But again I don't know why, it doesn't seem a coincidence to me, Ichinose."

I knew this was not a coincidence and I would like Ichinose to be true to her feelings and me.She and her class are important pieces for coming special exams. And it would be better if Ichinose won't hide anything from me.

"Ah Ayanokoji-kun, you are becoming too suspicious of me lately. Do you not want to talk to me?"

"No, it's not like that, it's just ..."

"It's just because you already have Karuizawa-san?"

"No, I just want you to come up with your feelings upfront. Rather than lying to meet with me everytime."

"So are you saying, is it okay for me to meet with you whenever I want?"

"I can't exactly say that, but if I would be free, I would gladly accept your offer anytime you ask."

"Thank you Ayanokoji-kun, I am so happy that you don't think, I'm becoming a bad girl."

"Why would I think that? It's just now you are thinking more about your feelings than before."
