It has been a week since I first started getting sick and now I couldn't even get out of bed.
I had the occasional visits from Bea and dad and *shudders* the wicked stepmom of the east ,Maggie,.
The doctors came and checked in me every few hours knock knock "come in" I stated weakly "hey dude, how you feelin" it was Evan "the same I was feeling yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that"
He laughed "yeah I figured, I know you're probably not up for it, but Jake wants us to go over the plans for the party" "uh, ok where's Aspen it's her birthday too" I sat myself up in my bed slowly "about that, Jake said that he wanted her to have her own party"
my eyes grew angry "but we are triplets, he can't do that, it's not his choice, get Aspen and we'll see how she feels about this" Evan sighed and then left the room. I placed my heads in my head and rubbed my face 'Ace, why is everything so complicated'
Evan entered the room again with Aspen behind him "Aspen how do you feel about this 'separate parties' situation" she shrugged "honestly I don't care, we're just turning another year older I don't see the big deal" I huffed "you're not helping"
"I just want to do want mom did" she mumbled her head down, I sighed reaching for her, I get it I missed mom too, a lot actually and then to be thrown in this foreign place, forced to get along with people that we hate, with the acceptation of a few people
"So we aren't doing separate parties" Evan clapped his hands "now we can get planning" Aspen wiggled away from me and wiped her eyes, when a boy busted into my room "excuse you" I said my hands folded over my chest "are you okay?" the boy asked my sister
She smiled widely at him "yeah, Blake I'm fine" he nodded and stuck out his hand "I don't think we've met seeing your current state, I'm Blake" I shook his hand "Oliver, Aspen's brother, we were actually in the middle of something, do you mind" I asked gesturing to the door.
"Oh yeah, no problem dude" he gave Aspen a huge grin and left "so you and the guy from the team are getting pretty close now huh?" Evan asked wiggling his eyebrows. Aspen couldn't help but blush, oh alright so basically
I need to talk with 'Blake' who me and my siblings just weeks before.
I guess I started to feel a little better "hey guys could you step out for a sec, so I can actually put on clothes and we can go out somewhere to talk" my brother and sister left the room without a word. I feel so powerful right now and I don't understand why, not even an hour ago I was vomiting my intestines out.
I walked to my closet, hmmm what to wear, what to wear. Oh boy, I sound like a girl, lets just go with umm black skinny jeans, an anthem tank top, and black vans? Yeah, sure. I sniffed my left armpit, then my right. God I stink I walked into my bathroom and stripped off the basketball shorts I'd been wearing for a week straight.
The warm water rolled all over my body and I instantly felt 1000x better than I did an hour ago. Ah the magic of water, I got out and put on the clothes I had picked out. I shook my hair dry, my headache gone, I guess I had made a full recovery. This werewolf shit is the best.
I stepped out of my bedroom door and bounced down the 5 flights of stairs into the kitchen 'mate' a tiny voice in my head said 'Ace?' I kept walking I don't even know where to. I ended up at dad I mean Jake's office I knocked once, twice, three times "OH ALPHA" I heard a familiar voice moan. It wasn't Bea, it couldn't be Bea, I sniffed the air.
It wasn't Bea, phew I opened the door "Jake I need to talk to you" it was the girl from school, Katy, she jumped at my voice. She grabbed her shirt from beside her and tried to cover herself "can you give me a minute" he motioned his head toward Katy "it's really important" he heaved out a sigh, pulled up his pants and stood in front of Katy so she could get dressed I'm guessing.
5 minutes of silence and Katy was gone "so what's so important" he pulled a shirt over his head and ran his hands through his hair. I sat on the back of the chair with my feet in the seat "I was just wondering, why I felt so powerful all the sudden, like everyone need to respect me and look up to me" a smile spread across Jake's face.
"Oliver" he spoke not even trying to hide his excitement, I nodded "you are the son of the alpha correct" I shrugged "I guess so, you haven't exactly explained this whole situation to me yet"
His smile faded "right, anyway this is my pack I am the most respected, everyone looks up to me and every unmated girl wants me" I nodded "im following you so far" he cleared his throat "and you and Evan are my sons, heir to being the nest alpha" my eyebrows knitted together, so far I had only two questions "what's a mate and if me and Evan are both heirs how do we know which one is going to be the next alpha" his smile came back "a mate is the person your destined to be with, your soul mate, but since your half human only your wolf knows who your mate is and the next alpha starts to show the traits you mentioned earlier a few week after their 16 birthday"
Realization hit me like a bag of bricks "so what your saying is, I'm the next alpha"

I just had so much writers block since the last chapter I didn't know where to take the story and now I guess I do
