Chapter 12
I couldn't help but wonder why they kept me on this hospital bed for so long I mean I have been into many hospitals before an none have kept me in for two days at most.
My father came in shortly after he left and I dreaded the conversation to come "I'm sorry that I blew up, but you need to know something very important" he said scratching the back of his neck like he was nervous I nodded at him to tell him to tell away,
"I didn't leave your mother, your mother left me you were just too little to remember, she said it would be easier to tell you kids that I left because of you know Tess's condition"
hurt flashed across his eyes but he quickly masked it with an emotion I couldn't read
"but do you wanna know something, Jake you still could've been a man and taken care off you're kids you shouldn't have let hercleave. But I understand her leaving I wouldn't have wanted to be with a pussy either"
I said looking at his face that had hardened then softened in an instant "I'm willing to get along with you if you tell me why"
I started to whisper now "I sprouted fur and paws in the ambulance the night if the crash and why are they keeping me in this hospital for so long"
he looked and me worried, as if he was debating weather to tell me or not he cleared his throat
"all in good time son all in good time as for why you have been here for so long is because you are not in a hospital you are at my house in the house hospital would you like a tour of the house"
he faded out after he remembered I had a broken leg which surprisingly didn't hurt at all.
Jake grabbed a pair of crutches and asked me if I knew how to work them "of course I know how to work crutches I've had to use them so many times before and the hospital in Georgia have me my own personalized pair, I knew all the employes by name and they knew mine, what does that tell you" I asked he shook his head
" it tells me that my son is just like his father"
I laughed at what he said. I grabbed the crutches and followed Jake through the house when I smiled and sniffed the air, Bea is here how I know that don't ask because I don't even know
her scent got closer and closer until I could feel her presence in the room
I wanted so badly to talk to her but jake lead me to another room in his house.
this house was huge probably the biggest house I have ever seen, he lead me into a fairly large room that had blood red walls and dark grey carpet that felt soft under my one foot that I was balancing on, right in the middle of the room was my bed from my room at my house I looked at jake in confusion
" you will now be living with me in this house that is shared with many others besides me and you and your brother and sisters."
I nodded and asked again about that morning in the ambulance he cleared his throat "meet me in my office I need to get your brother and sisters"
Bum bum I swear tomorrow it will happen but what do you think is going on with Oliver and Evan and Aspen and Tesslyn.
