M/C- Movie choice

Artem is usually busy with work, or occupied with other matters which makes it hard to spend time with him, but this time is different; He got off early and was driving home. It made Y/N ecstatic since this was a rare occurrence, it was as if she had been blessed.
Y/N picks up her phone and presses on Artem's contact and pressing the call button.
—"Hello?" You could hear Artem's soft yet stern tone which made butterflies fly in your stomach.
—"Hi!" You replied.
—"uhm.." you took a quick pause to take a deep breath. "Could you make a stop at the convenience store? We're running out of popcorn, Thanks!" You ask.
—"Okay." He said dryly with such a monotone tone.
—" Bye!! Love you." You exclaimed.
...
You could hear the silence for maybe 5 long seconds.
—"Love you too.." he muttered and hung up.
After that, you slouch on the couch, sighing in exhaustion. You then pick up the remote and look at some movies. You end up picking M/C because it looked interesting, and thought Artem might like it.
You got a blanket out, and waited for Artem to arrive home. It was hard for you to stay still while the time passed by. Seconds felt like hours.
Your vision gets a little blurry, you hear the door knot turn which makes you immediately jolt and turn around to where the sound was coming from. The door then opens to reveal Artem with a grocery bag.
—"Hey darling." He smiles as he comes closer to kiss your forehead. You lend a hand and help organize some of the groceries, yet he declines and does it himself within seconds with ease.
—"Wanna watch M/C with me?" You offered.
Artem shuts his eyes and smiles as he heads to the living room. You start prepping a bowl of popcorn for the both of you to share.
While the microwave heats up the popcorn, you attempt to strike conversation out of Artem since the apartment was quiet.
—"How was your day?" You ask.
—" stressful, yet short and enjoyable." He replies. "How about you?"
—"It was so boring until you came home," you whine. He then chuckles a bit and pats your head.
You get the bowl out of the microwave and put it in between you and Artem to share for the movie.
You lay your head on his shoulder as he places his head on yours giving you the comforting feeling. The last thing you remember is locking your hands with Artem and cracking a small smile, before you drifted off into a deep slumber.
