F/N= Friend name
—"We'll do our best to defend you Mx. L/N!" A feminine voice says. The male next to her nods, going me a soft smile.
—"You really believe in me?" I inquired.
—"Of course! I have a favor to pay back, and you are one of my close friends!" She beamed.
This was Rosa; my lawyer, and close friend since freshmen year. We first met at the schools debate club. I then softly smiled slipped as I reminisced old times.
—"Old friends?" The dark brunette asked.
—"Yeah, We go way back!" I said.
—" by the way I haven't formally introduced myself. How rude of me. I'm Artem Wing. You can just call me Mr. Wing if you want." He replies.
—"nice to meet you, Mr wing!" You answered.
—"Also, Mx. L/N, can you testify to us about what happened on the night of the murder?" The blue orbed brunette asked with a monotone voice.
—"Of course! Uhm.. I believe it all started at 6:45 pm. I received a text from F/N who asked me to come to that warehouse at 8 pm sharp. I used most of the time to get ready. When I left, I think it was about 7:30 pm." I took a short pause to breathe a bit. "When I arrived at the scene, it was later than the requested time. I'm pretty sure I saw the body around 8:13 pm. Shortly after, I heard a female scream. I turned around, and from what I remember, she had short dark hair. That's all I can recall, sorry."
—"No worries! Your testimony has helped me a lot!" Rosa exclaimed.
—"Thank you.. Rosa. See you at court tomorrow." I flashed another soft smile towards the two, before they left.
{After the Trial}
I was found Not guilty, while the other witness was found guilty of murdering F/N in the first degree.
—"Thanks so much Rosa!" I beamed, and threw my arms around her.
—"don't mention it!" She laughed.
—"Hey, why don't we go to dinner? My treat, and you can choose whatever restaurant!" I offered.
—"I appreciate the offer Mx. L/N but I'd have to humbly decline." Mr. Wing added.
—"I'll take you up on your offer. It would be nice to catch up with you again, Y/N." Rosa states.
—"oh by the way, can I have your number?" I ask.
—"of course it's [##########]" Rosa blurts, she also wrote it down for me just incase I didn't remember.
—"Thanks, I'll send the location to you. Oh, and see you there." I gave a big grin before running off for my "date."
