Lately at NXX, Everybody has been real busy: Luke working as a private detective, Marius has been going to a lot of meetings, me, Artem and Rosa were finishing up a case, and Vyn was being Vyn. Very mischievous.
The case we took up was about a female who was locked into a freezer. Her cause of death was hypothermia of course, but there is little to no leads on who the culprit could actually be; so Rosa would definitely have a hard time defending our client.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I hear Artem's soft voice.
—"Get some rest my love, we can always continue in the morning."
Artem then pecked my cheek and gave me a soft smile. It made my heart flutter. He then got up and picked me up bridal style and laid me softly on the bed. He left briefly to change into something more comfortable, and I decided to do the same. Once finished, we got into bed and cuddled together.
—"I love you, Artem."
— "I love you too, Y/N."
