You can't stand babysitting most children, but the pay per hour piqued your interest.  You now find yourself watching over a little girl, probably no older than 7 in YOUR house. And the baby brother, according to the mom, he was approximately 13 months.

—y/n pov—

g/n was watching tv and playing with her toys while I fed b/n some of the baby food. The only thing that was keeping me going was the money.

'hm.. looks like the aura in the house is calmer than before. I should probably brew up some tea to ease myself up.' You thought.

As the tea boiled, I heard the doorbell ring.

'Weird for somebody to ring at this time.. but it might be the mom so.. I might as well answer, what's the worse that could happen?' I said to myself.

—"hello?" I called out with my eyes shut, I then softly opened them to see Vyn..

shit.

' I forgot I was suppose to go on a date with Vyn... I hope he isn't mad about it.' I was drowned in my thoughts, but then Vyn's soothing voice manages to catch my attention.

—"Hi Y/N, I was wondering if you were still up to our date tonight. You weren't answering your calls, and I waited for about 15 minutes at the cafe." He states.

'15 minutes!? Missed phone calls? Now I feel really bad...' I attempted to avert his gaze, yet his eyes were examining me head to toe, making me feel really uneasy.

—"How about we just have a date here, is it fine with you. After all, it would be a shame if you couldn't accommodate your guest, no?" He asks.

You started to panic a bit, you didn't want him to find out that you were babysitting, but you didn't want to appear as rude. Contemplating and regretting your whole day, you finally came to a decision.

—"Come on in." You reply.

The two of you step into the apartment, and his eyes were fixated on the two children.

—"is this why you didn't come to the cafe today?" He questioned.

You remain silent, but nod your head to inform him that he was correct.

The room fell silent and awkward. Everybody was staring at eachother.

—"so uh.. I just finished boiling some tea. Would you like some?" You offered to Vyn.

—"That would be nice, thank you." He answered.

You then grab the handle of the kettle. As you did, you felt a tug on your clothes; it was G/N.

—"e-exuse me Ms. Y/N." She stuttered.

You then turn your head to face her.

—"can I also have some tea?" She muttered.

—"of course!" You flash a smile at her and offer her a seat at the table with you and Vyn.

Vyn then starts to strike a conversation with the little girl while you pour some tea into both of their tea cups, along with yours too.

Once you sit down, you quietly observe the interactions being exchanged between G/N and Vyn.

—"Thank you for hosting the tea party Ms. Y/N!" She said, putting the dish into the sink and skipping along.

—" I must go now, I have some business to finish up. Thanks for the date." He smirks and kisses your cheek. "Maybe next time we'll have the chance to visit the cafe." He then waves and walks away, leaving you flustered and lost in thought.
