"You don't need to speak; we can communicate with our minds. I don't know how I ended up forming a contract with a silly girl like you. When I woke up, it seemed like I forgot a lot of things. Maybe as my strength recovers, I'll remember," the spirit said.

Listening, Lu Ruxin fell silent, attempting to communicate with her mind. She didn't want to be perceived as a fool.

"You are a spirit of the ring. What's your name? I don't have time to deal with your recovery; my family is in chaos. Find someone else to contract with," Lu Ruxin said.

Lu Ruxin didn't want to get involved; she had enough problems to handle without this unknown entity added to the mix.

"Contract is serious business. Only death can release the contract. Do you know how powerful Grandma is? Many want to contract with her. You, ignorant girl," the spirit complained.

Lu Ruxin reluctantly agreed to the contract, emphasizing her family's hardships and jokingly mentioning rent for the spirit residing on her little finger.

"Once you help Grandma find demon crystals and restore her strength, your concerns like exams will be trivial," the spirit assured.

Encouraged, Lu Ruxin asked about entering the "Beast Ring" to study for her upcoming exams.

"Don't worry. The Beast Ring has a study system. Once your body recovers, hunt demon beasts to open the ring. You can then access the study system," the spirit explained.

Lu Ruxin hesitated, admitting her limited combat skills and lack of knowledge about demon beasts. The spirit promised guidance later.

After some discussion, Lu Ruxin agreed to cooperate. Curious about the spirit's name, she asked, "Do you have a name?"

"Call me Little Dream. I've been around for thousands of years. If you insist on a name, call me Little Dream," the spirit replied.

Lu Ruxin found it amusing that a being so old would be called Little Dream but preferred it over Grandma, which reminded her of an old monster.
