**Chapter 8: Lord Ao Tian**

"Lord Ao Tian, someone just spied on you. The aura seemed like that of a young girl." A massive snakehead emerged from a nearby tree, quickly slithering down and transforming into human form.

If Lu Ruxin were present, she would recognize him as the popular young idol, Lan Xi from Huaxia, distinct from Ao Tian's handsome features, carrying a hint of a delicate and beautiful charm. He had a slender figure, narrow eyes, white teeth, and a bright smile.

Ao Tian glanced at him. "So what? I came to this world to find that person. Others have nothing to do with me. Have this; you just finished your work, must be hungry. The demon crystal belongs to me."

Lan Xi gulped down the bull on the ground. "So indifferent. I think she reacted quickly. Maybe she could join our team. Oh well, she's gone now. I was late coming back, didn't even get to see her one last time. The Beast God is really ruthless, stripping us of all memories about the little female. Don't know when we'll find her."

"When the time comes, we'll find her. Don't complain about the Beast God. It's good enough that the little female is alive. Seeing her will restore all our memories about her." Ao Tian looked melancholy, gazing into the dark corners of the alley.

Ao Tian played with a grass-woven small dog in his hand. "Although I don't remember everything about her, the thought of her being missing hurts. She must be important to me."

"Calculating the time, she's almost of age; she should appear. I've traveled to many places in these years, met many people, but found no trace of her. She can't be missing forever, right?" Lan Xi expressed concern.

Ao Tian furrowed his brows. "No, even if we can't find her, Xiao Yu should be ready to transform. The Beast God is more lenient towards cubs. After he comes, he can find his own mother."

Lan Xi sighed. "Looks like we have to rely on Xiao Yu. The perception of beast people is sharp. As As Ming said, before we encounter her, we should try to gain wealth and power in this world to better protect her."

Ao Tian glanced at him. "Are you still waiting for the little female? In these years, you've been in contact with many beautiful women. Haven't any of them caught your interest? Last time on TV, you passionately kissed that actress and had intimate contact. Also, your fans on Weibo are shouting to marry you and give birth to monkeys. Didn't any of those people catch your eye?"

"Shut up." Lan Xi revealed his fangs, fiercely saying, "How can those people compare to my little female? Although I don't remember what she looks like, she's the best in my heart. You said you wouldn't obstruct me in pursuing the little female. What about you? You not only have fans but also a woman by your side. I can see the way she looks at you; she's interested in you. Your mom also likes her."

Ao Tian's expression turned cold. "Don't speak nonsense. I'm a married man, uninterested in others. As long as the little female is willing, I'm willing to accept you, but you can't force her."

"Of course, but for now, let's find the little female." Lan Xi followed behind Ao Tian, walking towards the dark corners of the alley. "When will you return to Kyoto?"

"In a few days. I came this time to check on work. A new antique shop opened here, and we're planning a charity auction. You should also go back to the Lan family and visit your grandpa. He's been mentioning you."

Lan Xi whistled. "Alright, I'm not used to having relatives, just bearing this identity."

The two figures walked farther and farther, eventually disappearing into the night.
