I was gonna wait for a comment or 2 on my last chapter to post, but they didn't come so I'll just post now. I dunno why though, i really liked the last one :///

Prompt: Merida and Jack watch a movie. It's a tear jerker.

"Merida, have a feeling you and I don't like the same types of movies." He said, very surprised by her collection of classics from the 1980's. He didn't even think bout what sort of movies she would like, he could hardy imagine her sitting still enough to watch one. Well, he could sort of see some appeal to old classics, after all they were classics for a reason.  But what he didn't expect were the Disney movies.

An entire shelf of Disney movies. Jack was silently dumbfounded. He hadn't even heard of a good lot of these, and Merida's messy unorganized self even bothered to alphabetize them. Jack didn't know if it was a good idea to question, but his curiosity had gotten the better of him anyway.

"Yo..." He began, lifting up a copy of Cinderella, where she looked nonchalantly towards it and rolled her eyes in another direction as soon as her eyes laid on them.

"It's a classic. Everyone with this many different disney movies are bound to have one." She said, not looking at Jack, but rather filing them between Brother Bear and Disneys: Christmas Carol, where she felt it belonged.

She slid out a dvd right before Brother Bear, and handed it to Jack. "We'll watch this if you're so against feminine films." She crossed her arms and Jack held the disk in his hands. "This looks like a cgi anime." Merida rolled her eyes.

"You'll like it, don't fuss." She said. It was rather surprising that he hadn't heard of it.

Jack raised an eyebrow, reading the description. "Merida, his name is 'Hiro.' Is that supposed to be some sort of protagonist pun?" Jack scoffed. He was never a movie lover, Merida knew. He never was able to sit through one. He had something against watching people have fun while he sat and did nothing, and Merida found it ridiculous.

"Jack, " She whined, prolonging the 'a' in Jack, so it sounded a little more like Jaaaaaack, "Please, can we just sit down and watch something like a normal couple? Just once?" Jack averted his eyes for a second, subconsciously. Jack and Merida had only been going out for a few weeks, and it was the first time she had referenced him to being in any romantic partnership with her. He would've preferred "boyfriend", but this was good too.

Maybe it was because she threw out such a nice title that Jack had found himself on the sofa with his feet on the table and an arm around Merida, who lay her head on his shoulder where one of ehr curls would sometimes tickle his cheek.

SPOILERS FOR BIG HERO 6

And they sat like that, sometimes  shifting, and Jack constantly kept glancing at the clock, hoping Merida wouldn't notice his head movements as the clock was slightly out of his peripheral vision and Jack had to move his head every so slightly, disturbing Merida.

He couldn't understand why she couldn't just skip the previews.

After what felt like an hour of controlled shifting, Jack saw an unfamiliar pink haired girl and a giant rather repulsive and dirty looking man, and between them sat two robots moving rapidly around each other and surrounding were crowds of unimportant, non-reoccurring people. In one swift movement, the girls robot was scrapped to a bunch of medal parts.

It didn't take long for the black haired boy with the large tooth gap to appear, holding a....bunch of magnets, as Jack assumed.

It was around this time, no more than a minute and a half into the movie, that Jack had felt himself getting bored,so he averted his mind elsewhere for a while, when a sudden whirring of noises erupted from the television, and those magnets worked their way around the big mans robot. Jack felt suddenly intrigued, but he wasn't going to admit that.

Loud and sudden noises seemed to be a trend in this movie, from Robots to GoGo's speeding around, to the inflating of what looked like a giant snowman, or maybe even a bunch of melted marshmallows stuck together. Jack had to admit that whatever it was, it was kind of cute.

Jack didn't like the next loud noise. He had to remind himself not to cry, and he was starting to feel rather pathetic. He pushed that feeling away and buried his head into merida's shoulder and planted a ticklish kiss on a spawn of freckles that lay there.

Merida darted her eyes to the figure behind her. She wasn't falling for anything. She smirked in satisfaction, she knew he felt something for this movie, and she was satisfied with that. Merida didn't enjoy the movie quite as much as Jack did. On impulse, emotionally heavy scenes make him squeeze her tightly where he held her. Jack didn't even notice.

"I am satisfied with my care." Said the little boy, only wanting to do good for the world, to avenge Tadashi's death.

Merida felt her shoulder become slightly moist. She shifted to turn to Jack, but he muttered "no," muffling his face into her shoulder.

"Jack, are you-" Jack hushed her, and shook her slightly to stop her from talking, "no." He said too quickly, his voice brittle and thick, hidden behind her hair. Merida chose the wrong time to smile. She covered her mouth to keep from being rude, so she fought his arms that kept her chained in place to keep her from looking at him, and planted a kiss on his wet lips.

"I thought you didn't like movies?" Merida commented.

Jack sighed. "Actually, I think I hate it." Merida snorted.

As the credits rolled, Jack wiped his wet face with the collar of his now slightly damp white t-shirt. He took a big gulp of air and coughed awkwardly as Merida sat up to take the disk out of the player. Jack sat as if he were contemplating life, but Merida didn't question this. She glanced at him, but he lay motionless. What an over dramatic little baby.

She sat upon his lap to face him with both legs wrapped around his sides. "You alright Jack?" She said, failing to hold down her amusement. He simply sighed, not looking at anything in particular, and face planted himself into the gap between her head and shoulder.

"Jack." She called to him. He lazily rose from his heads resting place to meet Merida face to face.

A simple, "hm," was his reply accompanied by a slightly raised eyebrow.

"Are you satisfied with your care?" She asked, uncharacteristically sweet.

"Oh shut up." He grabbed her waist and spun her down to pin her to the couch, a smirk hidden in the tone of his voice that lay underneath his embarrassment.

Pressing his lips to hers, she looked at him in a way that meant she wanted him to say that he was in fact, satisfied with his care.

An evil sort of smirk lingered on his expression. He teased, "Oh no, I'm not done with you, yet." and he kissed her again, in a rough but tasteful way that made Merida giggle from underneath him.
