Im going back to school in 11 hours. Halp.

This is the last update for a while, but im not sure.

And I need to work on my Halloween costume. Im gonna go as Hermione from Harry Potter and im writing this while I watch nightmare before Christmas so it's probably gonna be confusing when I call Merida sally when they mention Jack... O.o

Summary: Jack and Merida say 'i love you' mainly fluff.

"Admit it Mer, you're jealous." Jack smirked.

"I'm not. I just happen to hate the girl who chose to acquaint with you." Merida crossed her arms. She only ever spoke like that when she was lying, therefore Jack knew that she was in fact lying.

Jack couldn't wipe the smug smile off of his face as he watched the fire dance around her room in frustration. He found it amusing seeing Merida so out of character.

She struggled and wiggled her bow that slung around her body as she panted when it came off. Satisfied, she threw it beside her bed.

She slipped of her shoes, and Jack helped her untie the knot of her cloak and placed it neatly on the edge of the post. Merida sat with a huff. The springs bounced in her place as she plotted down so quickly, and she remained smug with an arrogant frown and kept her arms folded.

Jack, walked barefoot on the cold floor over to where the princess sat.

Close enough to touch arms, he sat beside her and ran his hand through his brown hair. "Mer, come on. I see guys drooling over you all the time."

Merida dropped her arms. She opened her mouth slightly to debate, but she knew it wouldn't solve anything. Her feet swayed as she sat on the high bed and waited for him to continue.

"I mean Come on." He paused, and added sheepishly, "I was serving your family during the betrothal." He rubbed the back of his neck.

She but her lip.

That's right. She thought. She forgets that she's a princess sometimes. She forgets that he's a commoner. She forgets that they most likely wouldn't be able to be together at some point. She would have to Change her fate once more. And it won't be any easier then before.

(That rhymed. I call that.)

"Hell, I'm poor. I can't even compare to Dingwall with that." He sighed. Merida turned her head to gave him, pushing back a strand of hair without much luck.

"Jack, you can't compare yourself. That wouldn't be fair to them." She smirked, nudging his shoulder, and he smirked. He leaned back on his palm as Merida crossed her legs to face him.

"I don't love them. I could never love them, at least, not like I love you." She said. She just realized what she'd said, that wasn't exactly what she'd meant.

He turned to look into her beautiful sea blue eyes. She shifted uncomfortably when he concluded, "You... You love me?" He asked, just as nervous. She cleared her throat and apologized quickly.

"I-I'm sorry, I don't know why I said that out loud." She stuttered, about ready to bury herself underground out of embarrassment.

He tried to reassure her. "Hey, hey, Mer." He grabbed her cheek gently, leaning closer. As he gave a nervous glance, but forced himself to look her in the eyes, he said, "I love you." She sighed in relief as he touched her forehead with his own. The warmth of her face contemplated with the shiver of his own. He leaned his lips closer to hers, then pressed his against her soft lips. It wasn't the perfect kiss, it was just an ordinary kiss that they both wished would last just a little longer. Only two seconds of Sparks that bursted through them. Only two seconds of the warm sensation of Meridas lips, only 2 of the cold and curious chill of jacks. It was perfect to them.

"So, does this mean you were jealous?" Jack smirked, still holding her cheeks as he felt her hands shoving his stomach back. Then her giggle. Her wonderful laugh that he loved.

GOTTA GO WALKING DEAD IS BACCKK.
