You confidently walked into the building and as soon as you step foot, all eyes were on you. You felt them all over your body. Some old folks shaking their head, ladies raising their eyebrows and men trying to undress you with their eyes. 'damn i know im fine but DAMN'. As you look around you notice there wasnt any people that looked like you here. You took a deep breath and continued to the front desk.
"Hi! Omg!! You're the first black women i've seen in a while since I've started working here! It's so good to see us around." Your face lit up as the beautiful dark skin women with a wide charming smile admired you. She had ginger locs into a ponytail, bright hazel eyes, and from her work attire you knew she dressed well.
"Hello!! I was scared this place was gonna be filled with-" You pointed to the palm of your hand. She cackled, trying to cover her laugh. You giggle back. People started to look at yall, like yall were so fucking loud.
"lemme stop before they shoot us" That caused you and her to laugh even harder, this time being more difficult to hide.
"Omg, What's your name? I totally forgot to ask." Her fingertips roamed the keyboard and her right hand clicked the mouse.

"Okayyy, The boss wants you in his office to go over some basic rules, how your gonna start and allat good stuff." You nodded as she picked up the office phone, dialed something and informed the boss.
"Okay! He will like to see you now! He's on the very top floor, and the elevator is down there" She gave you a warm smile, and pointed to the direction of the elevator.
"Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to be looking forward to seeing you everyday!!" You waved to her as you made your way there. She giggled snd waved back even harder.
"Girl me too!" You were happy you said a least one ally, you just hoped your boss wouldn't be a bitch. You've had job were that has happened before, and you would just rather not go back down that path. Especially when you are trying to get a fresh start. The more your walk down the hallway, the more you notice how fancy looking everything is. Down to the art on the wall, the flooring, the random plants around, the doors and even the walls. You got onto the elevator, pushed the button at the top, waited, waited so more, waited a little bit more and then you got off. A big black door was at the end of the hallway with big golden handles. The hallway down was covered in records, medals, random art and just a ton of rich people bullshit. It was fire though, you weren't gonna cap.
"Bro has a whole ass hallway going down his office" You cracked yourself up, and slapping your knee.
"Lock in bro" You straighten up, fixed your hair and clothes and cleared your throat. You knock on the huge ass black door.
"Come in" You hesitantly opened the door. Once the door open you were welcomed to a very black but light interior. The view of his office was amazing, and his whole office was causal but cute. It matched his hallway.
