Douma and Kokushibou being the heir of the royalties. Douma's parents loosing to find a woman for him, decided to go for the prince of the moon kingdom.
Douma was in disbelief he couldn't believe it, he had always sparred with the prince of the moon kingdom. There was nothing but hate between them. And yet... they were married.
"Don't think I'll love you just because we're married, you're annoying" Kokushibou says blatantly.
He never liked physical touch, yet they had to sleep in the same bed, next to eachother, since they were married."Whatever, I don't care. Go fuck yourself" Douma said.
Kokushibou just frowned at that, and thought how childish it was for the prince of the ice kingdom. He just looked down at the newspaper and read it with a blunt face.
"Why are you detached anyway? You are like dumb, no talk person" Douma asked, curious.
"I find love as a distraction. It is nothing but some petty fake care." Kokushibou replied, and continued with "Why do you care? Just mind your own buisness."Douma's face softened at that reply, which Kokushibou obviously didn't notice. "Is it... that you were never... shown care?" Douma asked, softly. Kokushibou hesitates for awhile and quietly says, "No...". Douma was hurt by that, as he didn't really feel neglection from parents. "Has anyone... hugged or pat you before?" Douma asked. "No, and that is weird." Kokushibou says blatantly.
"You do know... love is important" Douma said.
"Why is it important? It just distracts you from work and doesn't let you earn money, it's pathetic" Kokushibou said.
"That's not it... it is where you can feel safe and you can express your feelings to." Douma said, Kokushibou slightly paused as it was new for him.
Douma reaches out his right hand and patted Kokushibou. He flinched at the the feeling, he was about to shout at him... but it felt comforting. He couldn't say anything.
Douma kept caressing his hair, and said "Do you like this feeling...?" Kokushibou nodded and melted into the touch. He was very vulnerable at the moment.
"I am proud of you, has anyone said that?" Douma asked. "No, no one has ever told me that" he said in a shaky voice, trying not to cry. "You know it is okay to cry?" Douma said, "it's weak and pathetic..." Kokushibou said."Now now, crying doesn't mean that, it means, that you have been strong for quite awhile, and you just need some space" Douma said.
Kokushibou had a shocked reaction, he never heard that, in his kingdom crying was weak for men and was often told it was only for 'women'.
Douma embraces him and rubs his back, as a comfort. Kokushibou broke down I tears, as he cried in his shoulder.
"There, there" Douma said in a comforting tone.
Kokushibou sniffed and let go of Douma.
"Feel any better?" Douma asked, Kokushibou just gave a slight nod.
He then hugged Douma again, as he buried his face into his neck. Douma held Kokushibou against him. As they were like that.___
