Yeah so it is like they are human but here Kokushibou is a demon slayer like in the senguko Era, who was married with Douma, so here are no the new generation Hashiras, like Shinobu, etc.

NO ONE'S POV

Douma was making lunch for his husband and himself. He made bentos, it contained chicken, egg, vegetables and rice. Douma came outside the house to see Kokushibou training. "Honey I think you should rest" Douma said "no, it's fine" Kokushibou said "atleast get your lunch?" Douma asked "ooh! What di you make!" Kokushibou said. "See it for yourself" Douma said handing out the bento. Kokushibou started eating it, he enjoyed the food. "Are you not going to eat?" Kokushibou asked "I'll eat later" Douma said. "Eat.Now" Kokushibou said, Douma sighed and sat beside him and also ate. After they were done eating, Douma sat on a bench near their house seeing Kokushibou train. Douma was fascinated by his skills. Douma went inside to rest and Kokushibou continued to train. When he was done he came imside with a few wounds. "Ehh~  I told you to be careful" Douma said, Kokushibou chuckled and sat on the chair, Douma brought the first aid kit. Douma started to clean and apply medicine on the wounds. He then bandaged them. Douma did his hair while Kokushibou was reading a book. After his hair was done, Kokushibou gave a kiss at Douma's neck. He chuckled and went to take some groceries. Kokushibou rested in their beds when his crow came to visit them, "is it a mission?" Kokushibou said "Caw caw, Douma feeds me caw caw" the Kasugai crow said. "Oh he does?" Kokushibou said, the crow nodded and sat on the window sill. Douma was in the market at 6pm. He bought some vegetables and meat. He was returning home when he was passing by a poor village. Then he noticed two children a boy holding a child. Douma ran upto them "are you guys okay?" He asked, the boy who was carrying the girl started crying. Douma saw the condition of the girl, he picked up the child trying to see if she had pulse. Luckily she did, Douma quickly took her too a nearby river. He cleaned of her wounds, he then carried bandages he wrapped them around the burnt marks, the boy suddenly spoke "is she going to be alright?"  "Yes she just needs some rest and medicines" Douma said. Douma picked the girl up carried her and held Gyutaro's hand. Douma reached home, Kokushibou was shocked to see two children with him. "Douma, who are these?" Kokushibou asked "I found him in the poor village, he was carrying his sister someone had burned her but she is alive" Douma explained, Kokushibou looked at the children. Gyutaro came behind Douma as he was intimated by Kokushibou. "It is fine, he wont hurt you and I didn't get your name" Douma said "G-gyutaro, Gyutaro Shabana" he said. "That is a wondrful name we have a spare room you can take her there and rest" Douma said, Gyutaro nodded and took her sister to the room. He was reliefed after seeing Ume breathe. Douma smiled and made them some food, Gyutaro ate the food and started to wake Ume up. "Ume, Ume! Ume!" Gyuatro shouted, Ume woke up startled. "Where are we?" Ume said "you were burnt by those perverts so a person helped us now we are in their house" Gyutaro said "oh" she replied and ate the food.

Douma kept the groceries in place and finally sat down. He was going to get up again when Kokushibou held his hand. "Stopp" he said, Douma looked at him with confusion. "Stop going anywhere stay with me" Kokushibou said, and pulled his hand making Douma fall on the  bed. Kokushibou sat up and pulled Douma closer to him. Koku put his hands around his waist and kissed his neck. "Mhm~ Kokushibou stop~ your bird is till here" Douma said, Kokushibou sighed and let go of him. Douma brought some seeds and fed it too the birb. The crow flew away after it was done eating the seeds. Douma went make dinner. After douma was done he gave two plates to Gyuatro and for his sister and left them alone. Douma and Kokushibou then ate. After they were done, Douma laid on the bed and Kokushibou laid beside him. He hugged Douma and wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him closer. Douma turned to Kokushibou and put his head to his collarbone. Kokushibou gave kiss at his forehead and stroked his blonde, silky smooth hair.

When it was morning, Kokushibou was given a mission. Douma gave him the best luck and let him go. Douma watched him go until the age and he went outside. Kokushibou was supposed to stay with the hashiras, where his brother was present. "Konnichiwa Aniki" Yoriichi said "Hi, Brother"  Kokushibou replied. Shinjuro Renguko was also there talking with Urokodaki. They spent time together until it was 6pm, Kokushibou set out for his mission. He ran until he saw a lowermoon, lowermoon 1. (Not enmu) she had long black hair, and white eyes and in them written her rank. 

How she looked like:

Kokushibou thought it would be an easy battle but no. Lowermoon 1 was quite swift and could make the opponent weaker. After Kokushibou decapitated the demon he was feeling reall sick and felt like fainting. He walked back all the way home. Douma opened the door and saw Kokushibou in that state of health. Kokushibou was about to fall when Douma caught him. He dragged Kokushibou to their room and laid him down. Douma brought some water and napkins to wipe the blood off of his body and  bandaged them. Douma put his hand over his head, it was flaming hot. Douma quickly brought some ice water and a cloth. He drenched the cloth in and wrenched and out it on his forehead. Kokushibou body was also really warm. Douma brought another cloth and started wiping the cloth on his body, Kokushibou felt a cool sensation on his body making him relaxed a bit. Douma continued doing that for hours until his body cooled out. Kokushibou was coughing badly the coughs were dry. Douma gave him a glass of water. Douma was about to get some medicine he told Gyuatro and Ume to check on Kokushibou. They nodded and checked on Kokushibou. Douma set out to by some meds.  Douma came to the medicine shop, the pharmacist gave him the medicine. Douma talked about the symptoms but the doctor didn't really knew about it. Douma thanked him for the enough information. He came back with the medicines, he saw Kokushibou's kasugai crow. Douma called for the crow, it came to him Douma wrote a note that Kokushibou can't be coming for a few weeks or days because he is sick. Douma gave a bread to birb and told it too send the note to their Master. The birb flew away, Douma entered the house seeing Gyutaro taking care of him while re-using the cloth and.Ume trying.to cheer him up. Douma told the children to go away to play amd rest. He took the meds out and gave them to Kokushibou. Douma put his hand underneath his head and held it up he helped Kokushibou to consume the meds. Douma started to cold sponging him to cool his body down. Kokushibou was coughing, so, Douma got some honey to feed it too him. Douma put his head on his lap amd stroked his hair. "Uhm what had happened to you? Your health is getting worse and worse!" Douma whined.....
