Chapter 9

Alastor was still laying in bed still feeling the guilt and he sighs in annoyance while he looked at his shadow who was frowning.

"What now?" Alastor said as he rolled his eyes. The shadow crossed his arms and then made movements for him to apologize to Lucifer saying it was for the best.

"Why should I?" Alastor said as he gave his shadow a look. The shadow just made even more movements to communicate with him as the shadow even gave some attitude towards Alastor.

"Fine, I'll apologize only for you to stop" Alastor said as he got up. Then his shadow shaped into flowers to tell him to bring flowers for Lucifer.

"Seriously? Well fine, I'll bring him flowers if that can make you leave me alone" Alastor said as he made a bouquet of flowers as he rolled his eyes. "This is stupid..." Alastor sighs already regretting this but part of him deep inside did want to apologize to Lucifer.

So Alastor left his room to Lucifer's room to go, apologize as his shadow encouraged him on. He then saw Lucifer watching little Charlie play with her toys or just draw as he sighs and walks into the room. Lucifer noticed him as he looked away still feeling heartbroken.

".... What do you want Alastor?" Lucifer said as he avoided eye contact. "Your majesty... I just came to say.... Sorry for what I said earlier...." As Alastor said that his ears went down as he looked to the side, he was holding the bouquet in front of him.

"What's this for now?" Lucifer said as he lifted his eyebrow looking at the bouquet in front of him. "I never usually do this so be grateful that I'm apologizing... your majesty..." Alastor said as he is still avoiding eye contact.

"Hm... Fine I'll forgive you only because of my feelings for you that's keeping me from not forgiving you... And you just had to look so handsome looking like that..." Lucifer said as he blushes a lot before he took the bouquet of flowers and looks away, Alastor on the other hand couldn't help but felt something in his heart that made him blush a little before he shook that feeling away thinking it was nothing.

"Well, I should go do a broadcast now...." Alastor said as he just turns around still having his ears down, twitching then a bit.

"Al..... I won't force you to be in a relationship.... But if you do actually feel feelings for me.... That is if you ever do... Please let me know...?" Lucifer said as he set the flower bouquet in a vase as he even started fidgeting with his fingers.

Alastor just nodded in response as he walked out, then his chest started to feel something after Lucifer said that, he doesn't understand this feeling at all and he hated it so much but... At the same time he likes the feeling? He decided to head straight to his broadcast tower to go live in hopes of this weird feeling of his to go away.

After he got finished with his broadcast, his feelings wouldn't leave whatsoever so he decided to go to his room to go lay down on his bed but he ended up hugging his pillow and ended up kicking his legs as his feelings wouldn't leave.

A couple of years later, it was around the 80s and now Charlie was going into her late teens and that was when her emo phrase started to kick in. And Alastor was still trying to push his weird feelings aside thinking it was nothing.

"Char-Char? You need anything sweetie?" Lucifer then said as he knocked on her bedroom door.

"Dad no! I just want to be left alone now!" Charlie said as she groans.

"Alright my little apple seed...." Lucifer said as he walked off a bit upset, he wanted to spend time with his little girl but she wanted to stay in her room to be alone.
