Chapter 4

Alastor did wonder why Lucifer was even staring at him but he shrugs it off before just looking around the place.

After Lucifer and Charlie ate their food, they all got up and started to walk around.

Lucifer then saw a game where the prizes were ducks as his eyes sparkled and he immediately went to it.

"Wow... You really are childish aren't you?" Alastor said in a jokely tone.

"Shut up! I just NEED that duck!!" Lucifer said as he squealed.

"Sure then baked bean." Alastor then said earning a glare from Lucifer.

"Baked bean?! Seriously?! Can you please not call me that?!" Lucifer said with a pouty look on his face.

"You are small like a bean so why not I suppose!~" Alastor said that with no regrets and of course he still likes messing with Lucifer.

"Screw you!" Lucifer said since he didn't want to curse in front of Charlie so, he said that instead.

"Ha! No thank you! I'm not interested!" Alastor said as he still smiles.

"Not that! Nevermind, I have a prize to win!" As Lucifer said that he pays for the game then was given one of those guns that shoot the target, it was obviously a fake gun.  Alastor thought it would be funny to mess with Lucifer up by saying, "It's a shame your wife isn't here to see you~" Alastor said with a chuckle. Which works out by Lucifer giving Alastor a look of hurt and anger for Alastor to mention Lilith like that as he wasn't paying attention he shot the fake gun and he missed.

"Damnit you made me lose! Now I'm not in the mood to play this again... Lovely.... Let's go Charlie..." Lucifer said in a now sad tone before walking away.

Alastor would usually think this would be funny but seeing Lucifer quickly lose his mood made Alastor feel kinda bad? This felt ridiculous to the radio demon, he would never feel like this at all for anyone before.

As Alastor sighs out of annoyance from this, he then pays for the game, then he wins and is given a big plush duck before he went off to go find Lucifer.

Lucifer was watching little Charlie go on a kiddie ride as he watches, he was trying to be happy for her but after what Alastor just said to him, he couldn't help but still miss Lilith and was wondering when she'll come back.

Alastor found Lucifer as he hid the huge duck plush behind him as he went to Lucifer.

"Uh hey baked bean.... You good?" Alastor then asked. "Ha, what does it look like damn asshole..." Lucifer said, as he mumbled out the last word.

"Hey... Uh... Sorry about that...." Alastor said.

"You think a sorry is enough?! My wife just left me after I came home with Charlie! All I'm left with now is that I hope she'll return back.... Which might be me thinking she might which could never happen...." Lucifer said as tears started to fall down his face.

Alastor then noticed as he felt sympathy for him. But why? Alastor doesn't understand why should he pity the King of Hell, he doesn't understand it at all. Alastor sighs then he puts the plush on top of Lucifer's hat.

"Here..... I decided to win that for you since you couldn't cause of me.... Be grateful" Alastor said as he crossed his arms.

As Lucifer felt the duck plush falling off his head, he then grabs it and looks at it before smiling softly as he hugs it.

"Thanks Alastor...." Lucifer said as he gives the duck plush a big hug.

"Whatever" Alastor said as he rolled his eyes. Then he noticed Charlie just coming off the ride and ran towards them then noticed the duck plush and smiled.

"Did second papa get that for you?" Charlie said with a smile.

"Pardon?" Alastor said a bit confused by the sudden wording of what Charlie called him.

"You are like a second papa to me!" Charlie said as she hugs Alastor's legs.

"Uh.... Just call me Alastor..... I'm not used to you calling me that little girl...."Alastor then said.

"Just let her Alastor, she is just a child" Lucifer then said still hugging the Duckie.

"I- seriously? Whatever" Alastor then said not caring anymore. Charlie ended up yawning.

"My little princess is tired! We should head back home immediately!" Lucifer said as the three of them went back to their car as Charlie went in the back seat and Lucifer puts the duck by her as he went in the driver's seat then he saw Alastor just in the passenger seat.

Once they get back to the castle, Lucifer then puts Charlie on her bed, reads her a bedtime story, kisses her head, then goes to the kitchen and notices that Alastor puts the duck plush on the counter. He then saw Alastor getting a cup of coffee.

"Well thanks Alastor.... It did make me feel a bit better.... The duck..." Lucifer said with a smile.

"It's whatever but uh short king? I do wonder.... What did you mean by you coming home with Charlie when your wife left? Didn't she give birth to her? She is the mother correct?" Alastor asked, a bit confused by Lucifer's wording. Lucifer then smiled nervously as he looked around embarrassed not knowing if he should say.

"Uh yeah.... About that Alastor.... I think you should know something...." Lucifer chuckled nervously.

"Know what?" Alastor then took a sip of his coffee.

"I gave birth to Charlie not my wife...-" As Lucifer said that, Alastor then spat out his coffee and started choking.

"Please tell me I heard that wrong....-"
