Description:

It's just a normal night in Ninjago City for teenager Lloyd Garmadon aka the Green Ninja. But suddenly a mysterious portal appears and drops an even more mysterious figure in the middle of the city park, and the weirdest part is they look just like him, only older.

Series Lloyd gets teleported to the Ninjago Movie universe, takes place in the series during season 16 (Crystalized), for the movie universe it's before the movie happens. Both are very close to their cannon versions but have some differences.

Sometimes Lloyd hates his life.

Being the son of Garmadon in the same city that he's constantly attacking, is hard. The stares that follow him everywhere he goes, the whispers and rumors that are said about him.

And the bullying.

Everyday, like clockwork, a gang of kids harass him, making his life even more miserable. The things they say, the things they suggest he do. The only reason that he hasn't followed through with any of it is because of his friends, more specifically his best friend, Kai. And he also has a duty to fulfill, one of the few things in his life that he loves, being a ninja.

That's right, Lloyd Garmadon is one of the secret ninjas, the green ninja to be exact. He, alongside his five friends, make up the secret ninja force. Defending the city from any and all who attack it. Tonight they're all patrolling around the city, checking for any signs of crime.

Lloyd is near the center of the city. But he's not patrolling. Right now he's sitting on the rooftop of a building, lost in his thoughts.

'You're the reason for all the attacks.'

'Who would ever want to be friends with a loser like you.'

'Why don't you just kill yourself already, no one wants you here anyway.'

Lloyd groans and shuts his eyes, pressing his hands to his ears as he tries to drown out the voices inside his head. "No, no, no. Go away!"

He's tempted, so very tempted to just take a step. One step and it would all be over. But he knows he can't, he has a duty, not to mention how it would affect his friends, how his mom would react, or Kai. Opening his eyes he scoots backwards a bit, until he's farther away from the edge. Flipping his ninja mask back, he sits there, legs hugged to his chest, eyes locked on the stars above.

Why do they hate me? He asks himself.

What did I ever do to them?

As he's thinking about the bullies and why he shouldn't jump, a bright light flashes across the sky, and something falls down, landing in the city below. Startled, he jumps up, flipping his mask back on and shouting into the comms, "Did anyone else just see that light?"

"Yeah man, what the heck was that?"

"It was sooo bright dude!"

"I too used my normal human eyes to see a bright light in the sky."

"It was kinda scary..."

"What do you think it was, Lloyd?"

"I don't know, it came from over the city park. I'm gonna go check it out. Stay where you are."
