Augh. What the hell happened.

Lloyd blinks once, then twice as he slowly regains consciousness.

Where the hell am I?

He lifts his head, tiredly looking around. The last thing he remembers is telling his packmates to leave him and his mate alone, then there was something small and sharp... then nothing.

Wait... where's Kai?!

Lloyd's head whips around as he frantically searches for his mate. His sudden state of panic burns away the remaining drowsiness from whatever Zane had injected him with.

He quickly deduces that Kai is indeed not with him, and that he's no longer in their den. As he tries to get up from the ground, something hard and cold prevents his upper arms from moving much.

Managing to at least sit up, Lloyd looks down, finding that there's a pair of Vengestone cuffs currently on his upper set of arms. His lower ones however are cuff free. They must have come in after the others took him down here.

He growls lowly as he fully wraps his head around the actions of his packmates. They had interrupted him during one of the most precious and intimate moments between mates. Then they had the audacity to take him away from his mate!

Kai must be so scared without me.

Through the anger that clouds his mind, one thing is absolutely clear to Lloyd. He needs to find and save his mate, then take them both somewhere where no one will interrupt them and he can finally have Kai all to himself.

A purr replaces his growl as he imagines seeing his love again. But first he needs to get these pesky cuffs off.

Looking down at his hands, Lloyd simply grips the cuffs with his lower set of hands. He narrows his eyes as he channels his growing rage down and into the metal, his hands glow purple as destruction itself causes the cuffs to burst apart.

Grinning widely, his fangs glinting in the light, Lloyd walks over to the door, ready to begin the search to find his mate.

Kai pulls a shirt over his head, wincing slightly as the bandages wrapped around his waist rub against the wounds underneath.

"You need to be careful to not aggravate your sides too much."

Zane's voice catches Kai off guard and he jumps slightly, whipping his head around to look behind him at the silver Nindroid. His neck then loudly protests the sudden movement, causing him to quietly gasp in pain.

Noticing this too of course, Zane adds, "You should also try not to twist your neck too much."

Kai groans and nods, bringing a hand up to gently touch the bandages around his neck, but his hand is slapped away by Zane who somehow managed to get all the way over to him without him noticing.

"And that also means you should not touch it." He sternly reprimands the brunet, reminding Kai just how much of a mother-hen he can be.

"Ok, ok. I won't." Kai lifts his hands up and away from his neck in mock surrender.
